Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Edison

Ordered two bagel sandwiches went next door to another store while it was prepared came back to pickup my order and found out it was given away. Had to wait again as they made two new sandwiches. When exiting the plaza I realized the sandwiches had ketchup which I didn’t ordered. I returned the sandwiches and asked for a refund. The employee had an issue with the register and while telling them my issue they gave no apology they just gave excuses and whined about how busy they are. My time wasn’t valued my business wasn’t valued and at no point did this person take the time to accept responsibility and apologize. They made comments and gave a rude demeanor. When I made them aware of their customer service and I pointed out how I’m speaking calm and collective their response was I’m being passive aggressive. I made them aware I will be contacting management and she replied I am the owner nice to meet you Natalie. If this is the store owner this a terrible representation of Manhattan Bagels Franchise. The owner was very rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and arrogant. On my way out she said I should have spoken Spanish to her employees so they could have gotten my order right. I recently visited the bagel restaurant and I must say, it definitely deserves a 5-star rating! The cozy atmosphere of the place made me feel right at home, and the menu selection is outstanding.

Their choices of spreads and bagels are simply delicious. I tried a few different combinations and each one was better than the last. The freshness and quality of the food really stood out to me, and I could tell that they take pride in using top-notch ingredients.

The customer service was exceptional as well. The staff members were friendly and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience. Their knowledge and recommendations were greatly appreciated.

What impressed me even more was their wide selection of drinks. They have a variety of pop drinks that perfectly complement the taste of their bagels. Additionally, they offer a range of brewed coffee flavors that cater to all preferences. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique choices of pastries too - a perfect accompaniment to any breakfast.

This morning I wasn’t able to provided a service today but within the half an hour of being at this facility I am able to leave this review. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and as I came in I approached the man at the front announcing my name and that I ordered online. As I’m waiting for my order the time became a lot more lengthy so I stepped out for a few seconds and went back in. I had other places to be such as work and I politely ask the man if I can cancel my order as it was taking too long. He then proceeds to announce “uhhh we actually didn’t get an order.” Turns out I ordered to the wrong location, no biggie accidents happen. I said to him so I’m standing here waiting for an order and you were not gonna announce that you guys did not receive my order. I don’t know if this guy was shy so I’ll give him grace but then you should not be in the front line of the store. The fact that the guy didn’t have the common decency to communicate that my order was not received at that specific facility even while I stood there for over half an hour is absurd. I’m glad I didn’t have any transaction here this morning and I will not be coming back to the facility again.
