Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Edmond

I would like to express my profound disappointment regarding my recent experience at this particular establishment. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory, as I observed insects throughout the restaurant, some alive and others deceased, particularly under the buffet area and in other locations. The condition of the restroom was entirely unacceptable; it appeared to be neglected and unsanitary, with vomit, urine, and feces present on the toilets, doors, and flooring. Of the two sinks available, only one was operational, and there was a single soap dispenser accessible only to the individual at that sink.

The buffet presented a limited selection of options, with insufficient pizza available. While the salad bar was relatively acceptable, it was marred by spills and disarray in its vicinity. The soups and other buffet offerings were similarly neglected; the soups exhibited a thick film on the surface, while the noodles were aged and hard. Both the marinara and alfredo sauces were also unappealing, displaying signs of being old and having a film on top. Additionally, the beverages were subpar; I encountered extremely diluted lemonade and a Coke that was overly carbonated.

The sole positive aspect of my visit was the garlic bread, which was maintained in a fresh condition, despite the overall concerns regarding sanitation and quality. In summary, this establishment appears to suffer from severely inadequate management. Cici's obviously is not the place you want to go for good pizza (we all know it is typically barely edible) but it is suppose to be cheap and I expect at the staff to be at least decent. Took my family to eat there tonight, the prices have been raised enough that its hardly worth it, but I didnt want to disappoint my kids so we dealt. What I draw the line is at the rude, arrogant staff. They were curt to us, the dining room was filthy, and the girls working spent the whole time we were there gossiping about things I did not find tasteful or family friendly. To top off the unpleasant taste in my mouth, not only from the cardboard pizza but the rudeness of staff, they then treated a young woman who came asking for the pizza they were going to throw away with even more disrespect. It was the end of the night, and there was hardly anyone in there, and I saw them make two fresh pizzas, there was also over half of most pizzas left. They told her that they were going to be thrown away(in 10 minutes) but she couldn't have even one slice! Wasteful and unkind. As a compassionate, Christian woman this is not an environment I want my children in. We will never be...

My wife and I have eaten at this place for years, and we used to enjoy it.

Today we had 3 ppl with us, and we usually order a couple of pizzas to our table.

They no longer allow you to order a full pizza to your table, so we had to order several personal sized pizza's to get a fresh pizza. The problem? We waited 15, 20, 30 minutes and no pizza's. I address the server and she says she'll check on it. 5-10 more minutes no pizza's. I address the manager with the issue and he informs me with an angry tone saying we're not allowed to order more than two personal pizzas (we ordered 5 for 3 people).

This is after paying for 3 people to eat who are all starving and have been waiting patiently for almost an hour to eat.

We all three felt treated as a burden to the staff, not a cherished customer, and being ignored then spoken to impolitely was the final straw. It will be some time before we go back to this location, and possibly any Cici's again....
