I had an extremely disappointing visit to the Dutch Bros location on 1500 S. Broadway in Edmond, Oklahoma today. The wait times were outrageously long, with a chaotic drive-through queue and unclear instructions from the staff.
After patiently waiting in line with more than 10 cars ahead of me, the barista took my order. However, confusion ensued when another barista instructed me to switch lanes and then yet another barista redirected me to the walk-up area after waiting 15 additional minutes, claiming I was blocking traffic.
Despite following their instructions, I ended up waiting for more than and additional 10 minutes without any acknowledgment. I finally had to walk up to the window, only to find my order ready and neglected inside.
To add insult to injury, I overheard employees complaining about me, despite the miscommunication being entirely their fault. As a long-time customer, I expected much better treatment. This experience has solidified my decision to never return to Dutch Bros.
To make matters worse, it is Mother’s Day, I visited for their sticker drop promotion, yet I didn’t receive a sticker despite purchasing two drinks (many other customers around me in the walk-up line were given them without asking for them). It’s disheartening to be let down on a day meant for celebration and...
Read moreWas so excited to try this place but it was a nightmare! Pulled up and started to order, was told they “didn’t have menus” so I asked for a latte with dairy alternative milk and raspberry syrup, but half way through my order another employee came up and started talking to the person taking my order, I sat there for 4 minutes while they chatted with each other. When they were finally done he has me pull into the other lane with a rude attitude. Gets my order completely wrong. I finally get through ordering, he never tells me my total and takes my card, then tells me to stay in that lane and pull ahead tries to keep my card, I had to yell at him to come back and give it back to me. I sit waiting holding up the entire drive thru for almost 10 minutes, everyone behind me has their orders and are getting frustrated at me. Lady finally comes out with my order and says just so you know we funnel people thru the drive thru lane so next time get in that lane. I tell her I won’t be back and what happened while ordering and she smarts back “just so you know, our trainers just left and we have 50 new employees so it’s not our fault” ABSOLUTELY WILL...

Drivethru is unforgiving if you don’t think it’s worth the wait after ordering, so be certain you really want something from here or you’ll be stuck for a bit. On the pricier and sweeter side. Could do without the coerced terminology. Wanted an extra shot of espresso in my drink and the lady taking my order informed me that I meant, “I’d like a dub added.” After about 10 min waiting, my drink was being handed to me by a different lady who apologized for the wait because according to her..she, “didn’t know what Cadillac emblems looked like,” so she was walking to the wrong vehicles in the process trying to figure it out. No hard feelings on that, but I’d either pick a different location or a different coffee establishment in general if you’re looking for a more tactful, efficient, and hasty experience. Definitely not the place to go if...
