Jimmy's Egg — Restaurant in Edmond

This review is in response to the Jamie Davis review directly below this.

Ms. Jamie,

I am one of the servers at Jimmy’s Egg. & I am sorry to hear that you weren’t happy with your interactions with the employees.

I did want to address a couple of things.

To clarify, ma’am, when you first came in to the store and claimed you were double charged you were asked to bring your banking statement showing the double charged so that if that was in fact the case the issue could be resolved. Unfortunately, you never brought that in so that so nothing further could be done.

Yet again, if you were double charged on multiple occasions as you say please bring in your banking statements showing these double charges and we would be happy to correct this. We cannot fix anything if nothing is shown to us that was requested.

People without a home are also human beings. It hurts my heart that you would call them “nasty” and claim you got “sick” because you were in the same vicinity as someone that is going thru what is probably the most difficult situation of their life. I sincerely hope you never have to experience the same struggle that they have had to go thru and that someone never treats you with the unkindness and hard heartedness that you are...

I have been going to Jimmy's Egg since my grandfather and Loc Van Lee were friends in Kiwanis together many decades ago. I have always enjoyed the atmosphere and good basic food, especially your coffee which I tell everyone is the best in the OKC Metro. That said I think you could use some tweaking including with maybe adding new sides and or dishes to menu and promoting it somehow staying competitive. I love how when I come into your Edmond locations your staff like Pam always remembers me and brings me my coffee without asking , she remembers my favorite orders how she does this with what seems like all her customers amazes me! And Sara is always bubbly and has friendly conversations with all her customers. And at your Broadway location Heather is always quick to great me even if not sitting in her area. I enjoy coming to your locations and have visited several through out the state, in fact on any trip if I see Jimmy's Egg that's where we stop every time! Was at the Bartlesville location last trip north. I am glad the in-laws are keeping this family run business going and I hope for many more decades to come! So I ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon and hash browns. I ordered the eggs over medium which means that there shouldn't be any of the white egg yolk uncooked. The server was unbelievably good and very nice. She brought the food out and the eggs had the white yolk was not cooked and I can't eat it like that. So she went back and told the cook. It took them 10 minutes to recook two eggs. I think the cook got offended or something I'm not sure but this was totally unacceptable. What is sad about this story is is that my wife had been telling me how good the place was, she had eaten Jimmy's eggs over in Shawnee. So we decided to go out for breakfast today which is something that we hardly ever do and this is our experience. The server deserves a 10 she was really good the place was clean it deserves a 10 the kitchen because of their response to read cooking the food really deserves a one. By the time they brought my eggs out to me we were already done eating the food...
