I want to preface this with the fact that I rarely, if ever, leave a negative review. I ordered food through Grub Hub for fried rice, pad Tai, and a sushi role. When I got the food, it was cold and tasted sour. I ordered the food on a Wednesday, after receiving it I called the restaurant. I was promised to get a call back from the manager, but I never got one. I then called Thursday, Friday, and again on Saturday. It took me three days to get a hold of a manager, and when he spoke to me he was incredibly rude and kept shifting the blame on Grub Hub. Food being cold could have been due to the delivery time, however it was not just kind of cold. It tasted like old food being left on a counter for three hours. The food tasted off and sour. That is the restaurants fault. The manager, after telling me it was yet again Grub Hub issue, hung up on me. It was incredibly rude and he was incredibly unhelpful. Read moreIf you are looking for good sushi this is the place. If you would like customer service to go with your order look elsewhere. I called in a to go order. I was told it would be ready in 10-15 min. I arrived at the restaurant and proceeded to the bar to tell the bartender I was there to pick up a to go order. The lady asked me my name and I gave it to her. She asked to giver her a minute. I acknowledged as she was making a drink. She finished the drink and began to take care of tables, bringing water, she even came back to the bar to assist people seated at the bar.
15 minutes went by until someone at the sushi bar noticed me standing there and directed someone to assist me.
It was 9pm on a Saturday, 4/10/21, and it wasn't busy.
Based on how I was treated I wonder how the restaurant expects me to feel and also question why I was treated this way?
I recommend they staff someone at the door to facilitate people patronizing their establishment. I also recommend they have signage that directs patrons to where they need to go to pick up...
Read moreOrdering from Kyoto was a disaster. I placed an order for pick up, and it took over an hour. I waited at the restaurant and watched all of the customers dining inside get helped first. Then they made the to-go orders. Myself and another customer had to wait until everyone else was serviced inside, before we were even greeted and acknowledged for our to-go orders. When I finally got my food, the soup was missing, and the food that I did get tasted terrible. The meat (I ordered a meal that had shrimp, chicken, and steak) all tasted like cleaning chemicals. I’m not sure why, but it was nasty. I’m guessing they may have just cleaned their cooking area and cleaner was still on the grill. I don’t know. I ended up throwing the food away and eating something else. All in all, I was not greeted when I walk inside, i waited an hour for a simple to-go order while other people came in after me and were helped first, then the hostess gave me an attitude, and finally it needed with food covered in...
