1/5/25 Cold windy day? Paris Banh Mi - Edmond, OK has the cure! I got the beef stew, but they have several pho dishes, as well as 5 lo meins that are also bomb, or fried rice, not to mention 8 choices of banh mi and 12 versions of Korean corn dogs, plus a bunch of appetizers like egg rolls, firecracker shrimp, crab Rangoon, chicken and more. Come on down and get warm, try their flavored teas or hang out with friends or family.

Today, I tried the pork chop special. The chops were seasoned with a delicious glaze of Vietnamese flavors, slightly salty, a hint of ginger, and other herbs I donât know. It came with tomato, cucumber, jalapeño and julienned veggies like what you get on Banh mi, one egg, two pork chops, and a cup of rice. Also had a small container of fish sauce with spices. It was all tasty, and I felt full when I got done. I had the iced milk coffee, not the best choice for sugar, but it went great with the meal. If you like pork, I would recommend you try this as a change of pace next time you come in. â ïżŒeating lunch at Paris Banh Mi Pho 15 Edmond.

Iâve had a great #2 grilled pork banh mi and Vietnamese beef stew. I enjoyed both. Their flavor was the best part. Everything tasted fresh and looked wonderful. There are many Vietnamese snacks and pastries to choose from, aside from the menu. I also sampled the seafood egg rolls. They were freshly fried, just a hint of the sea. Staff was very friendly, asked about my dining experience.

Ordered Special Pho today - rare steak, meatball and brisket. The broth was tasty, slightly sweet, good pho flavor, I tasted then added hoisin and pepper sauce. I added jalapeños, because I like spicy. The size is about what you get for a small at most places around Classen, which is fine with me. I actually finished this bowl, so Iâm guessing itâs in the small side, but I had plenty. I also ordered firecracker shrimp, just wanted to see what they were. Despite the name, theyâre not that fiery , but they tasted good with the dipping sauce. It looks like they wrap the shrimp in an eg roll skin, then fry it. 5 per serving. Food came out quickly, and staff was very pleasant, but unobtrusive. Music was soft pop, with a slight techno vibe. They have boba and gelato, I did not partake. Maybe next time.
Update 1/17/24 Came in this morning for breakfast, out of croissant so I got chicken pho. See above for review of broth, it is all beef broth. Very good as before. I ordered coffee with no sugar, but it did not translate. Oh well maybe next time.
Update 3/11/24 Debut of chicken curry. Warm creamy base, with chicken, onion, taro, and sweet potato, subtly spiced and cooked perfectly Al dentĂ©, accompanied by warm baguette slices. I paired with iced milk coffee, great meal. Iâm stuffed though. Recommend if you like curry. Itâs not spicy hot, so you can add your own heat if you want more fire.
3/23/24.
Today, it was Vietnamese beef stew with noodles. It is significantly larger than the Vietnamese beef stew with bread. I think the noodles absorb some of the spiciness, but you can enhance with sriracha. Same great taste, I should warn you that the beef is on the fatty side on purpose, but the meat is very tender and flavorful. Today I also tried the lemon berry cake. The lemon is pronounced, but does not overwhelm the blueberries. Cake is very light, offse5 by the cream cheese frosting.

Read moreUpdate (in response to their comment): If you have kids â or just expect food your kids will actually eat, basic hygiene, and halfway decent service â this probably isnât the place for you.
The business responded by basically blaming my baby for their failure to clean. One of my kids is a baby who canât even talk and he was the only one crying and the others were upset because they were hungry since the corn dog was too spicey for them ânot being disruptive or misbehaving. The dirty dishes were at a nearby area (not our table). That response was disappointing and, frankly, makes absolutely no sense.
I ended up taking them somewhere else where they could get food they would actually eat. But thanks for the concern (sarcasm).
Later, the manager approached me about the experience and asked me to remove my comment. The conversation felt offâshe seemed more focused on how the situation affected her than on making anything right. She also said she couldnât really offer anything today, which just felt odd and insincere.
Original: I visited with my three young kids. The menu is extensive but lacks clear descriptions, which made it difficult to know exactly what we were ordering. My kids wanted the âblue corn dog,â and I specifically told the cashier we didnât want the âred corn dogâ because it would be too spicy for them. Unfortunately, what we received was still too hot, and no one offered to fix the order or make it right.
When I asked the cashier a few simple questions about the menu, she was very snooty and rude in her responses â not helpful at all, especially when you're just trying to make sure your kids will enjoy their food.
There was only one high chair, and it didnât work well with any of the tables â too low for the tall ones and too high for the small ones. They also have a whole area meant for napkins, but it was completely empty and littered with dirty dishes. They didn't come to clean it the whole time I was there.
We also used the restroom where there was no way to lock it. Even though it say to latch it for privacy? So, you know, if you want people walking in on you while you're on the toilet, this is the place to go. No soap either.
The space is cute, but the poor customer service and lack of common ammenities (soap and napkins) really ruined the experience. The food was just okay, but I wonât be coming back â mainly because of how unhelpful and unfriendly the staff were. And my kids didn't like their food and left hungry. And I definitely wasn't about to spend more money there. We went somewhere else and I got them food that...
Read morePeople may have different outlooks of this but this was my experience today with Paris Bahn Mi. We made a huge order: buy 5 get 1 free x2. We also ordered a Korean cord dog. We had trouble with the cashier as far as paying...gave her the benefit of the doubt seeming it may be her first job and she was a kid.
The bahn mi on the menu says it is 7.99 but when rang up it is 8.25. I've seen many people with concerns of their cost and my husband mentioned at the register that he thought the price was 7.99 each, the young lady then states yes if you pay with cash- this si not advertised anywhere so it is very much so misleading.
Once our order was completed there was an older lady that called for our order and said is this all of your order, which was all bagged up and holding the same receipt as mine, I said yes this is our order.
We leave and once we get home we were missing our Korean corn dog, I called up there to report our missing corn dog and the young lady that answered the phone stated that, "It is your fault you assumed your whole order was there. Your corn dog is sitting here on our counter and you're not getting a refund."
I asked to speak to the manager and the young lady kept repeating that I am not getting a refund and that my corn dog was still there on the counter. May I mind you, I live in Yukon. I repeatedly stated I understood my corn dog was sitting on the counter and that I needed to speak with the manager. I can hear the phone being passed around by a few girls and laughter happening. At this point I'm furious and had literally yelled to speak to a manager because they were of no help and said that I was banned from Paris Bahn Mi and to never call or come back again.
I am truly not against teens working, but teach them proper customer service skills! All I wanted was to speak to a manager of how I was spoken to and figure out the stupid corn dog situation because IT WAS NOT CHEAP!!! The absolute worst experience ever, prices or overrated and kids with no customer...
