Not sure what the hype was about. I felt bad for our server he had a hard time keeping up with "all his tables". He was friendly and remorseful but he was in over his head or maybe having an off night. My husband and I consider ourselves foodies and recently moved to the area. We were so stoked to try this place and went with huge appetites. The best thing was my predinner bloody Mary. It was delish. (Its the reason I gave 2 stars) However that's where the good stopped. We ordered oyster nachos and calamari to start off with after hearing from friends they were "stellar". The oysters were cold and gummy and very greasy. The calamari was chewy and lacked flavor. We had the seafood platter and andouille chicken for our entrees and thought we would push the bad appetizers aside and enjoy our meal. Well the chicken was pink and cool to touch the rice was cold. My husband seafood platter was not much better he can muster up the courage to eat about anything and isn't one to leave leftovers but he took about 3 bites and pushed it aside. He decided not to mention the gumbo he never got delivered he was afraid of what would happen lol. I feel bad for our waiter and my hubby it was our wedding anniversary and my birthday and we were ready for an amazing meal. We left hungry and disappointed. Was surprised the manager never stopped by. We did get full at twin peaks later in the evening though. Maybe they were...
Read moreI’ve been to the Dallas location and this was our first visit to the Edmond location. The manager Corey was absolutely fantastic. He and our super sweet server Alexis made the atmosphere so welcoming and fun. You can tell as soon as you walk in that everyone there loves their job. It’s reflected in their customer service and their fantastic food. The oyster nachos are an all time favorite appetizer and I always order them. Their blue point oysters are super fresh and delicious, my personal favorite preparation is chargrilled. The shrimp and grits were an explosion of flavor, and cooked to perfection. Corey held the door and wished well to all of the customers as they left, including us. He checked on us and all of the tables, making rounds to every area including the bar multiple times and made sure we were enjoying everything. Alexis kept our drinks full and food served hot, and politely cleared all of our plates in a timely fashion with a smile. Overall they exceeded all expectations and it made for a very lovely anniversary dinner. We left very happy and we will definitely be back. Best seafood in the OKC...
Read moreWe were first-timers at Fish City Grill and enjoyed this establishment. Two things stick out the most: the top-notch service from the very friendly staff and the tasty food! My wife ordered the fish tacos and claims they rival any she has had from San Diego to South Carolina. I ordered the Alaskan Salmon, and it was de-lish! Did I mention the speedy service and the courteous staff at Fish City Grill yet? Yeah, they are great! The place was clean, family-friendly, located in a nice neighborhood with open-promenade-style shoppes and boutiques all around, served great food and delivered prompt service. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend the oyster nachos and the creme of jalapeno soup. After having samples of some of the other menu items, I would say you couldn't go wrong with this casual dining experience. Entrees will cost you anywhere from $10 - $25 per person, depending on what you order and of course, market prices. There were also plenty of daily specials to choose from. We will definitely return to Fish City Grill when visiting...
