Swig — Restaurant in Edmond

Update: unfortunately, I went to Swig this evening and now must change my review. The cup that held my drink this evening had a hole in it. Once I tried to take a sip as I was driving away, I got soda all over myself, my seat, and my cupholders. I went back in line and asked for them to redo my drink. They told me that they would just put it in a new cup, which wasn't filled as full since the original contents leaked out. Needless to say, I was frustrated and I most likely won't be coming back since I can just make it at home for cheaper and won't have to risk getting it all over my car.

To be completely honest, I am typically team Sodaliscious, but since I live in Oklahoma this is the best I can do. I have been to this location multiple times. I even drove an hour for the grand opening a few months ago... I do think Swig has definitely gotten better over the years, since the last time I went to one was in 2018. The customer service at this location is good, but the entire layout of the area really needs to be reconsidered. It also feels somewhat inefficient, because the queue can get quite long at times. I like to get a Coke with coconut cream and fresh lime, though I sometimes change it up. My parents like the Diet Dr. Pepper with raspberry puree. Additionally, I do find the drinks to be a little overpriced. I am just grateful there is a soda shop like this in nearby. That said, I am still...

No apologies for making people wait in a drive thru on a Saturday for 30+ mins. I was here earlier at midday and the drive thru line extended to the main road. Staff seemed super cavalier and lacking any urgency. I was there for a doordash pickup and also decided i was going to order a strawberry breeze but then decided not to because Lord forbid they make everyone behind me wait another half hour with their sloth-like service. And they dont have a lobby…… so that gives them full reign on horse-play.

I go to scooters and dutch bros all the time, 10x faster service

08/01/2025 UPDATE: Went to Mo’Bettahs to get brunch. Decided to get a quencher from “Swig”.. Got the medium size Strawberry breeze with sparkling water ——— one “Swig” and i wanted to throw it out the car window but lest i ruin the environment with this atrocity, i didnt. Decided to hand it to my dad who will eat/drink whatever. He prlly just took 1 SWIG and left it on the stool where it sat stagnant. Now it goes into the trash. I could have done anything else with those +$6… wanted to try Swig because of the constant lines they have on the drive-thru but now i KNOW THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A FAD. Went through the drive through on May 5th. I ordered "The fighter". When I received it, looked nothing like the picture, which I understand that happens in the food industry but the pic was bright pink, and my drink was white. So, I went back through the line and that's when I was told they were out of raspberry. I told the young man that was helping me that would have been nice had they communicated that with me when I ordered. Okay, no biggie, he said they could remake it with raspberry syrup instead I believe. Got the drink and it tasted literally like water with cream in it. Called and the same young man that helped me (Barrett) told me that the people making the drinks were training and the drinks aren't going to always be right which in my mind is wild. He told me I could call later and speak to the manager (Kylie) but he had no idea when she would be in, so I was like then how will I know when to call back 🤦. Anyways, he said he would find my order and give me my credit back because I used it for not only one but two drinks I could not drink.
