fresh out of my alaskan shapeshifting program, i figured i would, like, need to get some coffee or something. But something horribly wrong became of my soul. The coffee, betwixt that of my lip and the cup itself (perchance.) went into my gut. i then digestion.
This was the beginning. Well, my beginning, anyway; but it was also the beginning of something much grander: the beginning. What does that mean, you may ask? Well, let's start at the beginning.
Soon after my pilgrimage to Saint Lucia, i had managed create a dark creature that whispered laments into my mind. I was told to go to Scooters, where i lowkey ordered a coffee.
but then, my coffee had UM, like, DAN AND PHIL?? FROM DAILYMOTION??
they slapped an ad for some crappy reading app on my forehead and dissolved into a fog.
i dont remember where i was going with this
Shrek is a 2001 American animated fantasy comedy film loosely based on the 1990 children's picture book Shrek! by William Steig. Directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson, and written by Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Joe Stillman, and Roger S. H. Schulman, it is the first installment in the Shrek film series. The film stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow. In the film, an embittered ogre named Shrek (Myers) finds his home in the swamp overrun by fairy tale creatures banished by the obsessive ruler Lord Farquaad (Lithgow). With the help of Donkey (Murphy), Shrek makes a pact with Farquaad to rescue Princess Fiona (Diaz) in exchange for regaining control of his swamp.
After purchasing the rights to Steig's book in 1991, Steven Spielberg sought to produce a traditionally-animated film adaptation, but John H. Williams convinced him to bring the project to the newly founded DreamWorks Pictures in 1994. Jeffrey Katzenberg, along with Williams and Aron Warner, began development on Shrek in 1995, immediately following the studio's purchase of the rights from Spielberg. Chris Farley was cast as the voice for the title character, recording most of the required dialogue, but died in 1997 before his work on the film was finished; Myers was hired to replace him, and gave Shrek his characteristic Scottish accent. The film was initially intended to be created using motion capture, but after poor test results, the studio hired Pacific Data Images to complete the final computer animation. Shrek parodies other fairy tale adaptations, primarily animated Disney films.8]
Shrek premiered at the Mann Village Theatre In Westwood, and was later shown at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme d'Or,[6 making it the first animated film since Disney's Peter Pan (1953) to be chosen to do so.10] The film was theatrically released by DreamWorks Pictures in the United States on May 18, 2001, and grossed over $492 million worldwide, becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of 2001. It was widely praised by critics for its animation, voice performances, soundtrack, writing and humor, which they noted catered to both adults and children. Shrek was named one of the top 10 films of 2001 by the American Film Institute, the first animated film to be listed, and won numerous accolades including the BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and the inaugural Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
The film's major success helped establish DreamWorks Animation as a competitor to Pixar in feature film computer animation. Three sequels have been releasedāShrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007), and Shrek Forever After (2010)āalong with two spin-off filmsāPuss in Boots (2011) and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)āwith other productions, notably Shrek 5, in development. It is also regarded as one of the most influential animated films of the 2000s and one of the greatest animated films ever made.[11[13] The United States Library of Congress selected Shrek for preservation in the National Film Registry in 2020, becoming the first animated film of the 21st century to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated Review This location apparently needs to have their own companies coupons explained to them by the customer. I ordered a large drink because I had a coupon for half off of a large or medium drink, the same coupon offered a small drink for free. But who really wants a small that doesn't last very long, especially when you are sharing with your spouse. Now even though I ordered a large they gave me a small without even asking me if I wanted the small. On top of that, they applied a $2 credit I had available on my app but wasn't even trying to use. So I lost my $2 credit and the half off coupon for a tiny drink that I had not ordered. If you must go to Scooter's make the extra drive and visit a different location.
Old Review: Their Peanut Butter Power is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with their customer service and the time it took to get my order out to me. Super fast drive through even when there are multiple cars. They do offer food items but I haven't tried them yet but their drinks are worth visiting for. Plus they recognize Veterans Day and offered a free beverage of any size to veterans and active duty military. Thank you, not all business's recognize veterans but...

Original review: (2 stars) I went a few times and it was alright and a good substitute for Starbucks. The first few times, the guest service was lovely. However, the past two times, I've driven up when the store was supposed to be open and I recieved no help and no response over the speaker. The first morning of no help everything was open and the lights were on but no one was visible from the windows. The second time, today, I drove up and the person who was manning the window immediately walked to the back. Then I waited for a bit and got no response at the speaker. After a minute or so I just drove away and the person watched me drive away. I get maybe they're short staffed but I'm on my way to work. At the very least they could have apologized for being closed or had a sign up or something instead of just letting me sit in the...
