Came in to sell a 18k solid mens ring at 14.4 grams. Jeweler confirmed weight and 18k hallmark and said "I will pay high 14k" I said why it's marked 18k. He said something about melting it down and making jewelry out of it. I said you can buy it at a couple grams less at 18k. He said it would be about the same lol. This place is a total scam. I hope they read this and can explain what high 14k is lol. I didn't have time to argue or get a little louder so others could hear that this guy literally said I will buy your 18k at 14k high. I might not look like I'm 45 but I wasn't born yesterday. Thanks for trying to scam me and not being honest or even fair for that matter. This guy offered me half of scrap prices on 18k and tried to say he was paying me hi 14k. This should tell everyone what kind of place this is. If I could give this place a 0 star I would.
