Steve's Rib — Restaurant in Edmond

We arrived at Steve's Ribs at 11:30. Opened at 11. We had to call and get them to open the door. We ordered $61 worth of food. Then as they stood around, they didn't have sweet tea made, said were out of cole slaw, were out of pulled pork, heard girl on phone saying no chicken, heard guy saying on phone to customer they couldn't order ribs with their meal. Their explanation was they had big order early but we were first customers in door. We cancelled since they didn't have half of what we had ordered 10 min before which they said nothing about not having at time of order. Very disappointed, poor service and no offer to fix anything or give discounts. This kind of service will put them out of business. If there was a big order as they say, then they should get busy making food...

I have been going to Steve's Rib for about a year. I enjoy the food and the staff; they are pretty good guys. I say that sarcastically. 😉 Truth is the staff has always been friendly and quick to help with suggestions, and they take care of each customer. My brother was impressed with the food; back in Arkansas, where my brother currently lives, he is quite the pit master himself. His wife has won a few 1st place awards in the Colorado and Missouri state fairs. So I am convinced that if they approve of a restaurant, it has to be excellent.
