I wanted something different for lunch and The Lookout happened to be in the area where I was driving. I’m not a golfer but I’ve golfed and I’ve been to the driving range but it’s just not for me! However, I have found out some of the best food is served at golf courses. Since I was eating solo I sat at the bar. The menu was intriguing and I had to give some thought as to what I wanted to try. I knew I wanted a sandwich or burger so I went back and forth between the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, Pulled Pork, and the burgers. I finally decided I’m at The Lookout why not just go with the signature Lookout Burger. It was delicious, the smoky bacon stuck out the most along with the pimento cheese! The burger was nice and juicy. The only negative was the bun! It just didn’t hold up to the burger. The fries were good as I asked for them to be crispy! I sat in front of a fully stocked bar but this was only a lunch break and I had to return to work. Madison was the person behind the bar and she was delightful! After I finished and she brought the tab we discussed best options for lunch, her top choice was the French Dip. That being one of my favorite sandwiches I must return to try it out! This being a golf course restaurant one would naturally see a lot of the golf theme. However, you don’t have to like golf to enjoy some good food! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Quiet nicely spaced seating, well- appointed. A full bar centers the space and there is outside seating also! Definitely an unassuming spot for a restaurant on a public golf course! It was priced very affordable in my opinion.

It was a nice spot. Good aesthetic. Quality food.. our server was great and I forgot her name. Started with an M. She was great. Had some pretzels and a few salads. Super fire.

I came in today to enjoy a few beers and was asked for ID by a server named Tavion C. I presented my valid U.S. military ID, which is acceptable under Oklahoma ABLE law. I pointed out where the date of birth is located—something some servers may not be familiar with. Instead of acknowledging this, Tavion immediately walked away, mumbling under his breath and storming behind the bar as if throwing a tantrum. Completely unprofessional behavior over something so minor.

A shift lead later came out and respectfully explained they didn’t believe military IDs were valid for alcohol purchases in Oklahoma. While I disagree, I had no issue showing my driver’s license. My issue is not with the ID policy—it’s with the attitude and disrespect shown by Tavion.

I’ve visited The Lookout multiple times and have never had a problem using my military ID. This was an...

The service we received this weekend was atrocious. We had a party of 7 people. We had to ask 3 times for our server to bring us water and only after about 30 minutes did she bring it to us, and our coffee and other drinks was brought out two at a time and very slowly (rather than just putting it all of on a tray) We had to repeatedly ask our server for different items because she kept forgetting. Our food took forever to come out, which is usually not a huge deal, but it was a big deal because our server emphasized to us that our food was about to be out but they had to serve another table before us (even though we got there 20 minutes before they did). My husband's food was cold, so I could tell it had just been sitting in the kitchen for a while. The food was good, but I would not come back again because of the...
