Best of Books — Local services in Edmond

The 2 stars weren't for the store itself. The store definitely gets a 4. The book selection was pretty great. The gifts, bookmarks, puzzles and toys selection was very extensive. We loved the section for littles and all of the learning toys available. The 2 stars was for the staff. Obviously we had not been there before, you could tell by all of our oooing and awwing. We got 1 hello upon entering the store and then the lady disappeared. We never were asked if we needed help or otherwise. The 2nd lady we saw behind a different counter didn't look at as even once nor acknowledge our presence. We had planned to shop there soon for some books that we haven't been able elsewhere but have decided against that. It's sad that because we don't "meet the look" for their typical customers and won't be shopping...

This little locally owned bookstore is absolutely amazing! And let me tell you why: -The customer service we received was unlike any we have received in a long time -The store clerk had deep knowledge of a wide variety of book genres from which to offer reliable recommendations -The selection was outstanding for a seemingly "small" store -The store felt cozy and welcoming, making us feel invited to stay a check out everything it had to offer

THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! My fam and I went last weekend for a book signing event and it was a great experience. We drove from Dallas, Tx and were received so well!! The ladies there were very welcoming and the gentleman who attended to us towards the end was awesome! My niece forgot her teddy that she's had since she was 1 (she's now 4) in the bookstore, we did not realized she left it behind until we got to our hotel we were exhausted. We called to see if we could pick up the next day before we left and THEY LITERALLY OPENED ON THEIR CLOSED DAY to give us her teddy!! Thank y'all for...
