Harvey's Tavern — Restaurant in Edmonds

I was googling Harvey’s to share the meet up address with a friend when I saw the scathing review that was left a couple of weeks ago. We have been regulars at Harvey’s since it reopened a couple years ago under new ownership with bartenders Johnny, Zach & Shae. This is definitely the best bar on highway 99. It has a good dive bar atmosphere while, at the same time, being clean with friendly bartenders and a safe feeling environment. They also have entertainment such as free pool a couple days a week, karaoke on Thursdays and usually live music on Fridays.

I was also quite surprised to read the negative comments written about bartender Clint. We visit Harvey’s frequently, and Clint has always been attentive and friendly. My impression of him is that he is a reliable, honest, hardworking person and, having known every bartender since the reopening, Clint is one of the better bartenders that has worked there. It would be disappointing if the owners made scheduling adjustments based upon one random person’s review.

All in all, it’s unfortunate that someone had a negative experience, but I can confidently say that this is not the norm. Harvey’s is a fantastic place to go unwind after work, catch a game on one of their many screens or hang out on the back patio when the...

Clint (new bartender) completely turned me off from a place I normally love to go that's got a chill atmosphere. He was swearing, throwing EVERYTHING around and never even asked my friend if she wanted something to drink after sitting at the bar for 30 minutes! Kept trying to get his attention and he was purposely ignoring and just RUDE to everyone! My tater tots had onions on them which I hate and wasn't supposed to even be on them. He dumped my cheese after melting it and got frustrated and that it was adequate to just throw a spoonful on them instead. I just relocated to the area adjacent Harvey's and happened upon the bar on a Saturday afternoon ride. I am so glad I stopped in. It is a true bar, no frills, great prices on beverages, has an established group of regulars, and Wendy the bartender was nothing but a pleasure.

The sitting area in the back is perfect for smokers who like to sit and sip a drink, socialize, and have a puff or two. The decor is classic bar. Feels like it is supposed to. I knew I found my new home when I pulled the harley up next to two other bikes. I went back Sunday afternoon and parked next to yet another harley.
