McDonald's — Restaurant in Edwardsville

This was the worst fast food experience I ever had. We would never come to this mcdonalds if our kids didn't insist on playing at the play place. It was about 1145 on a Sunday. We ordered at the kiosk. We waited a half an hour for our order to be completed. To top it off they put all of our food on a tray while we waited for a single cheeseburger for my kids happy meal. When we finally got our food everything was ice cold from sitting on a tray for 15 minutes while we waited for a cheeseburger that probably takes 10 seconds to make. $30 for terrible food and service. Every customer there was waiting. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the wait. There were several customers waiting to place their order. The employees were extremely rude one of them being an older lady with short gray hair. She was downright mean to multiple customers asking when they could place their order. To top it all off the manager decided it was time for her break while she had a lobby full of people waiting forever for orders. There were 2 other employees wandering aimlessly around the lobby. Another went on break and made his own food order while customers were waiting. None of the employees seemed to care. It was obvious this is how this mcdonalds operates because being busy was justification for terrible service. Avoid this location. This place always sucks in one way or another. I only come here for my kid now. Waited in a reserved space for 15 min after ordering in drive through then had to get myself and my kid out of the car and walked in. All this for a 6piece kids meal. That’s it. The place wasn’t even busy. There were many employees in the kitchen trying to figure out how to do their jobs. Person that finally got my order was rude and offered no consideration for our wait. This is just one instance at this place. I’ve had them not put the cheeseburger in my kids happy meal. I’ve seen a gloveless person put ice in the ice machine in the lobby by hand after scratching their backside. I’ve been in the play place with my kid while employees took their lunch and cussed and complained about their jobs loud enough for us all to hear. I can go on and on about this place and how dirty and rude and unorganized the staff is. There is one lady that has shorter grey hair that’s there usually earlier in the day. She is the only person that presents herself as a professional and is kind and the only person here with a clue. I came to edwardsville from stlouis and this place is worse than any McDonald’s I’ve been to in the city....

I'm very disappointed! I ordered at the Center Grove Rd. Location through the app and didn't inform me that it was closed so when my bf went to get the food it informed him when he parked that it was closed temporarily. He made the order for this location. I understand with the inconvenience this location would be busy but they forgot my daughter happy meal. A little upsetting, but no biggie, will just call and inform them I cant come up there since my bf was about to head to work, hence why we did a pickup order. When I got through, a lady answered and gave her the information which to her response was "What do you want me to do about it?" Usually they would just get your name and phone number for you to come in and get your order a different day but with her attitude I just asked for a refund and she said I'd have to go through the mobile app which said I'd need to through the store to have them give me a refund. As well as my bf entering the lobby to, assuming it was the MOD, she was yelling at employees. This isn't the first incident ive had here. Highly unprofessional. Will not be returning to this...
