Michaels — Local services in Edwardsville

Okay so, let's be real; It's Michaels. However, the employees care was amazing. I (19) brought my mom (63) with a $25 gift card for mother's day. We grabbed plenty of things. Yet, we struggled to find one specific item. She walked us to find any possible replacement for it. Then, we returned to check out. As a college student, I asked about a student discount. They don't offer one, but they do an educator one. As an education major, that applies to me because I'm student teaching. She opted for that one because it takes off a higher percentage than my mom's senior discount. I saved $4.93. All the workers were very kind, respectful, and ready to help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this...

Last two trips, the wrong merchandise was put under a “clearance” tag.....after standing in their usually long line, I walked out empty handed because the wrong similar merchandise was priced much higher. Then I stopped in to buy a basketball displaycase on sale....no cases, I couldn’t get a rain check, was told shipment was coming in next day so I came back, bought the only one that came I ....it was broken...brought it back....was told they were not getting anymore and I could drive 30 minutes away to another Michaels to return.

Great place. Has everything you need for your hobby. They always have a coupon available on their website. A lot of items on sale. The store always looks neat & clean. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. One thing I really like about this store is they carry items for the sewing machine, home sewer, like thread. I always walk all the Isles because it gives me inspiration for other designs that I can incorporate into my hobby. They also have a lot of different types of paint. Just a great...
