I’ve been to several Mcalisters at different locations and this is the only one that never fails to make me question why I still even eat there. While in line there was a truck in front of me who didn’t even get to order after waiting behind him for 25 minutes I finally got to order. Waited 10 more minutes to actually place my order and the girl who took my order sounded almost annoyed when I SLOWLY told her my order which I had to repeat back to her 3 times. After paying (MIND YOU I ordered a sandwich and a cup of soup) she asked me to pull forward. I waited 20 minutes pulled forward before deciding to just go inside. Once inside the building, the atmosphere was disgusting. It’s 75 degrees outside and it was hotter inside. Looked around expecting to see an ungodly amount of people inside in which was maybe the reason they were taking so long. There were MAYBE 5 people seated. Once inside I waited 15 more minutes for one sandwich and one cup of soup. The food was fine but EVERYTIME I go here I remind myself I need to have an extra hour of my day planned to be wasted waiting for these people to get it together. One lady told me they were short staffed and that’s very understandable but where is management helping out here? If they are so under staffed cut down on the menu options, work shorter hours, or simply shut the place down. Everytime I go there there are always new employees. I wouldn’t recommend this location to ANYONE. Best of luck to this establishment as it will need all the...
Read moreWe sat in the drive through for over 30 minutes. Spent 10 at the window itself waiting for someone to come and let us pay and give us our drinks. The staff was inside just standing around talking and messing around, ignoring us. When we finally paid, we sat for another 20 or more waiting for them to bring the food out. When we finally got fed up, we went in to see what the issue was and our food was sitting on the counter with 2 other orders waiting to be brought out. We got a sandwich and soup. The sandwich was soggy and cold telling us it’s been sitting there on the counter for a while. I would give them grace if they were busy and if this was the first time we’ve had issues but it’s not and according to other reviews we aren’t the only ones. We were the only car in the drive through line when we ordered and there was only 2 cars in the parking lot. Last time we tried eating here the person on the intercom wouldn’t stop joking around long enough to let us order. We went back and forth several times just trying to put our order in. I’m all for having fun at work but not when it becomes an issue and we can’t even order our food without long winded side jokes and unnecessary commentary. We ended up driving off we were so frustrated. We used to eat here all the time. It was one of my favorite places in town. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back...
Read moreReal quick; i know no one personally who works here, nor have i worked there or applied. My 1st time and personal experience at McAlister's Deli: Friendly and Efficient Staff. Clean store top to bottom and i looked. Boy did i look. Nichola i believe that's spelled correctly: Very polite, patient with me, and genuine. The members of management were also very kind and polite. Spoke with them both after my meal. I won't share what we spoke about here online, but it was all very flattering and generous. Thank you guys. Okay, I ordered the two for $7.99 --- chose the 1/2 Savannah salad and 1/2 King Club for a small upcharge fee: BEST SALAD/SANDWICH combo I've had in my entire life. Every bite was full of flavor from beginning to end. Fresh meats, cheeses, lettuce, blue cheese in the salad, some kind of delicious sweet mustard on the King Club maybe, regardless also the best ive ever had! This food is PHENOMENAL! I'm sorry Jimmy John's (for sandwiches) and TGI Friday's (for salads) McAlister's is KING! Please don't change. You have my ❤, respect, and wallet! Thanks for the best overall foody experience I've had since Pappy's BBQ in 2016. An unofficial...
