La Michoacana Elite — Restaurant in El Cajon

My wife, kids and myself come here because the ice cream is really good. But the service that we received today August 21, 2022 at 2:15pm was extremely rude. There was two women working and one of them was so unprofessional and ignorant. The younger employee was nice and greeted us but the older woman started talking to the girl that was helping us laughing and stating that we do no speak Spanish. Which she thought wrong because we speak perfectly good Spanish. Now if a customer is Mexican American and they don’t speak spanish it is unprofessional to laugh at your paying customer period. I was very impressed with the opening of this store in El cajon. I have had the michoacana paletas (ice cream) in stores but their selection in store is amazing. They have regular ice cream available but their paleta selection is very impressive. It ranged from basic coconut and lime to fruity pebbles, gansito and cookie monster. We ended up getting a nutella-platano and gansito. They also sell chocolate covered frozen bananas and we snagged two of those too. I have not tried their snacks but they host a variety of common Mexican snacks like tostilocos and elote cups. Omg!! I love the taste of fresh ice cream! There is a variety and it’s hard to make up your mind when everything looks good!!! The people that work here are very friendly and have a lot of patience to choose a flavor. Every time I come here I have to some dozen ice cream pops and ice cream in a cup for the road!!
