My family and I had the pleasure of coming to this restaurant for brunch. Let me tell you, it was completely worth it. The service was amazing right off the bat you get greeted at the front by great customer service. The staff is super friendly and extremely welcoming. It was a little busy for takeout, but that did not damage the great customer service. We sat down and got water and coffee. The coffee was amazing café de la olla never disappoints. The chef came out, took our order himself, and was extremely nice. we felt really special. We ordered 1 kids breakfast that came with hash brown eggs, 1 strip of bacon, and 1 sausage. We also ordered green chilaquiles that came with a side order of beans and eggs, and we added chicken for an additional 6 dollars. They do not play with the chicken it was a whole half a breast in there. I ordered the rib eye steak and eggs that came with green bell peppers and onion and a side of French toast. The food was amazing. The seasoning on the food was perfect. Let's start with the kids' meal I ordered for a 1 year old, and the chef knew what he was doing he cooked the bacon rice and crispy kind of like a potatoe chip the sausage was also crispy and the eggs where nice and scrambled. Textures play a big part when feeding a 1 year old, and I swear this chef got it spot on my 1 year old could not stop eating his food. The chilaquiles were phenomenal, although they were not spicy for me or my fiance that did not take from the flavor very well seasoned tortilla chipe fresco and crispy and the sauce really brought the dish together. The rib eye steak was perfectly executed to a medium and again well seasoned with hash brown and scrambled eggs. The French toast was too fluffy and delicious that I wish I would have had more time to sit, and as a parent, sometimes when it's time to go, it's time to go. I really enjoyed the food here I really loved how welcoming they made us feel and will definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a nice brunch spot near temple city honestly I this this is going to be our new go to for a nice brunch for my fiance and I. Definitely must try!!

Marko in El Monte is a gem of a find! This cozy, family-run spot is all about warmth and good eats. We swung by for breakfast and were blown away. The breakfast burrito was a flavor bomb with that zesty chorizo and perfectly scrambled egg. But what really nailed it? The crispy hash browns inside—genius move! The French toast platter was a sweet delight, hitting all the right notes. Plus, the ample side parking made the visit hassle-free. Overall, great food, friendly vibes, and definitely worth a return trip! For those who like Mexican breakfast, they've got some seriously tasty Mexican fare too! While we dove into their breakfast delights with the burrito and French toast platter, the whispers of their Mexican menu piqued our interest. From what we gathered, their lineup of Mexican dishes is top-notch. So, if their breakfast game is anything to go by, I'd bet their Mexican offerings are equally delicious. Definitely, a spot to explore for both breakfast cravings and authentic Mexican flavors!

Marko’s Breakfast and Dinner is a new restaurant on the block. I looked at their online menu and saw that they offer organic juices and picked some up on my lunch break for me and my coworkers. We all loved them. I was looking forward to trying out their food. My husband and I visited for a date night and the dinner was sooo good. We ordered the rib eye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, as well as the chicken Alfredo pasta. We were BIG fans of these dishes and will definitely come back for more. I can’t wait to try their breakfast next! We couldn’t say no to dessert and ordered a cheesecake, which was also undeniably delicious. To top it all off, I tried their cafe de olla to have on the way home and it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Marko's B&D is a must try!

Parking: Finding a spot at Markos Breakfast & Dinner was a breeze. The restaurant offers ample parking space right next to the building, which made for a hassle-free start to our dining experience. Whether you’re coming in for a quick breakfast or a leisurely dinner, the convenience of easy parking is a definite plus.

Seating: Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The seating is well-arranged to ensure comfort and privacy, so we had no trouble finding a cozy corner for our group. The decor is charming, blending modern aesthetics with a touch of homely warmth, making it perfect for any meal of the day.

Service: The service at Markos Breakfast & Dinner was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to offer recommendations. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived without delay. The staff’s friendly demeanor and professionalism greatly enhanced our dining experience.

Taste: The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. The Rib eye Picado & Eggs were perfectly cooked with tender meat and perfectly seasoned eggs. The Machaca Sonora was rich and flavorful, capturing the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine. The Chilaquiles Verdes was a delicious mix of crunchy and soft textures, smothered in a vibrant green sauce. The Chorizo & Eggs were robust and savory, and the Cafe de Olla was the perfect finishing touch, offering a warm, spiced coffee experience. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and the quality of the ingredients.

Price: Considering the quality and portion sizes, Markos Breakfast & Dinner prices are pretty reasonable. Each dish was well worth its price, offering great value for the money. It’s rare to find a place where you leave feeling both satisfied and like you’ve gotten your money’s worth, but Markos achieves this balance beautifully.

Overall: Markos Breakfast & Dinner exceeded our expectations in every way. From the convenient parking and comfortable seating to the outstanding service and delectable food, every aspect of our visit was top-notch. Markos is the place to go whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying dinner. Highly...

This was our fiirst visit. Marko is extremely welcoming and genuine. He took our orders and served us when we arrived. You can tell through his food and the energy in his restaurant that he and his family pour their heart and soul into all aspects of your dining experience. The decor is a mix of classy and homey with black and white themes, modern fixtures/signage, and vintage kitchen prints. Hand made sauces and product directly from Mexico made our meal extremely authentic and enjoyable. Marko checked on us regularly, answered questions, and made suggestions for us first timers. He was friendly and understanding of a family dining with a small child. My 4-year old son was all smiles. We can't wait to come back!

Ordered: -Machaca and eggs (machaca from mexico does taste different and better!!) -Huevos rancheros (over medium eggs and tasty salsa) -Kids sweet and tasty plate (3 small/medium-ish pancakes w/handmade strawberry sauce and powdered sugar) -Side note: Their flour tortillas were so tasty and warm! My son ate some that were meant for my rancheros and we were fighting over them throughout...
