Taco Nazo — Restaurant in El Monte

This location Taco Nazo on valley Blvd. Has changed so much it seems as though they are trying hard to retire within the year end. Prices nearly doubled not 25 cents higher but a dollar and more 3 potatoes tacos we're $199 now nearly $6.00 I ordered four fish burritos cost $40.00 and change, which I don't mind paying for if the food is good... But I got all four burritos big and heavy only to notice they were full of rice one small piece of fish no cream and I asked for extra cream on all burritos, none of them had it, this location is really bad I've been coming here for almost 13 years and they have really changed for the worse, customers are being way over charged for rice and beans, the most inexpensive item you can put in a tortilla where's the meat or fish....then they have the gull to place an ATM machine that only accepts 15 and up percent tip, lol for what!!! They didn't serve me or seat me, crazy ATM machine will not continue to work unless you choose a percentage for tip I will not ever return here, feel so bad for spending $40.00 on rice I'm going through terrible feelings inside. Then to top it off you can't call them to complain, because their phone # given to you on receipt is actually time Warner phone number...lol so they have every angle covered, you can't call, you have to give a tip, they cheat you with rice instead of fish, then they wonder why do we get reviews like this, you think they would care about the customer and give them a great experience for the price....so the customer may tell friends of their great experience and awesome food.. this establishement is only out for the most money they can get from you and give you...

I was mainly going to El Gavilan to eat tacos, but then I saw this Taco Nazo, it had a line out the door and a big drive-through line as well, in which enticed me to try these fish shrimp tacos. They surely did not disappoint. Yes, the line was big, but it was very fast to take my order for dine in. There are currently two lines, one where you can make an online order pick up and the other to order dine in. From my experience of going to other fish taco restaurants, I envision my tacos to be small so I ordered a special tray of eight tacos, which was fish tacos, and shrimp tacos. But you can choose from other meats like Asada, El Pastor chicken, and other meats that I cannot simply remember because the shrimp and fish tacos were amazing! The trey also comes with 6 blonde jalapeños sautéed with salt, pepper and lemon, just amazing and also you get a side of red salsa which is not spicy at all. You get to go to an outdoor table setting and they will bring the order out to you. To my surprise the tacos were actually decently big, so once I saw the eight tacos, I knew I was in for it. Challenge accepted! Like I mentioned, It is an outdoor setting, so it is quite noisy and there are some flies, but it was just a day where it was humid. The food is ok but the service at the drive through is terrible.the people handling the orders don't tell you where to pull up. That yard is big, and a lot of restaurants are bringing the food to your car so after I paid I park on the side next to where they are taking the orders. 10 minutes later I asked if they are bringing the food to the car, that's when the security guard pointed out to go all the way around by that time I had a car in front of me. Well to make the story short the car that was behind me got also served first, another 7 minutes go by and they finally approach the car and he said are you waiting for your order? I said yes what else would I be doing. He said ok and leave. 4 minutes later he came back and said sorry we think we gave your order to somebody else, but if is ok for you will give you a taco for the wait. I said ok thank you. It took me 35 minutes total to get my food. But let me tell you young man. yes you There was no taco in my bag. Not only you guy's mess up my day because I got late to work. but you had to lie about giving me something as a complement when you didn't not.
