We had the super nachos on Tuesday June 16 at approximately 7:30-8:00pm. The next day I started having stomach issues all day, I thought it would pass but that night I started with severe abdominal pain and was in the bathroom all night till about 5am I got 3hrs sleep then it started again and back to the bathroom I went. Their is really no remedy for FOOD POISONING so I just had to bare through it. Today I woke up and my right side of my back was in a lot of pain due to my intestines being inflamed from the Diarrhea. I tried to find a phone number to corporate but found nothing, I know they don't care at the managers level they don't want this to get to their bosses ears. Don't know if it was the meat, sour cream or cheese I don't think it was the guacamole... I will be contacting the local health department to report this establishment. People always fail to do this and just write a bad review but that don't fix nothing! This is just so you know what your getting if you choose...
Read moreThis is my backups backup's backup for tacos etc. Nachos taste stale because the tortillas aren't crispy and small portion compared to everywhere else. Only things I'd honestly barely recommend are their tortas and sopes because the bread is tasty and the sope itself taste the same everywhere. Tacos are good size, but no matter WHAT meat you order, everything taste old as though they've been keeping it warmed up for the past week. True story, I once went to this location to buy tacos de asada, and I broke a tooth !! while chewing on a super hard piece of "meat". Service is mediocre because they don't smile, but they do give you extra condiments when asked for without attitude but still no smile. It's not an office job, lol. Atmosphere inside always seems clean and very very cold, so I prefer their parking lot which is clean too and usually plenty of parking. I come here about 3-4 times a...
Read moreI'm not joking or trying to throw shade but I just moved into hacienda heights and it is a Mexican food desert. I've yelped and visited a lot of the 5 star places in the area and they suck (how can you mess up a burrito?) so when I saw the signs that they were building a tacos Gavilan on Valley I was ecstatic. I remember visiting the first one in south l.a. and I was impressed at how organized it was. Then when they expanded my home town of Huntington Park had 4 built in the immediate area. This Gavilan OS no different. Clean, clean, clean! Visible kitchen, friendly staff and the best part, the best fast food tacos in l.a. it's a bit pricey but...
