Mostly everything is great at this place for the area it's serving. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is their beef, although tasty, is very chewy, so it's hard for my senior parents to enjoy. The rest is good. Discovered them in July when I was looking for bento, and been here about 7-8 times for that alone. Seen the cashier get dogged out by a snobby city worker, and he remained respectful and professional. Great service. Chicken's great(not the shredded kind), salmon no complaints, salads are very fresh and generous with the dressings and options; even their little known french fries are great-big thick cut freshly made; not stale and tasty. Prices are doable. ETA is about 10-15 min if you walk in your order. Plus, they have delivery app service. Only teriyaki spot in La Puente I know of....

The chicken teriyaki plate with Fresh Salad 🥗 ranch dressing was REALLY GOOD. According to the cashier lady the teriyaki sauce is HOME MADE which to me implies they take the time take pride in quality of food.
