With all this Covid stuff going on, they have a food truck parked outside the restaurant to make it quick and easy to get a quick bite to eat. So far I have only gotten street tacos...only a buck each and they are delish! They obviously have a lot of other things on the menu but because I take a quick lunch and eat in my car the tacos are perfect for that.
The service is super fast and the people are very friendly. I almost think they could have more business if they parked their truck facing the street because it kind of looks like the truck is just parked in the driveway.
I would definitely recommend El Jalisco Cafe and cant wait for them to open up the restaurant for dine in.
This is a follow up to my first review that was happening in the middle of all this COVID stuff...
I went there last week and noticed their food truck wasn't open and I was a bit sad thinking they closed...but luckily they were now open in the dining room!

Read moreThis place is so good! They have an extensive menu that includes seafood, soups, traditional Mexican dishes and breakfast as well as aguas frescas. We’ve tried the flautas, sopes, huaraches, tacos dorados, enchiladas, French fries and agua de melon & Jamaica. Their coffee is served hot and is very tasty. They give chips and salsa and the salsa is delicious. They get busy and sometimes it takes them a while to come around for refills but overall the staff is nice and the food comes out quickly. Since discovering this hidden gem, we’ve already been back twice and will continue to return. Also, their prices are very reasonable and the portions are...
Read moreI stopped by El Jalisco today and honestly, the food wasn’t anything special—just average at best. When I asked if they charged extra for using a debit card, they told me it would be $2.50, which is pretty steep. I ended up just paying cash and left a small tip—because honestly, between the mediocre food and the surprise fee, it didn’t feel worth more. It’s okay, I guess, but there are definitely better...
