I love Tierra Mia and went to the Anaheim location alot. Was excited to finally see one opening closer to me and had to come by when it first opened. This one is of course alot smaller than other locations because it took over a previous establishment (establishments because everything that opened here never made it too long) that was primarily drive-thru/togo. There is some seating inside though and more outside.
Lets start off with the location. Its quite hard to miss this place since it sits in a busy intersection of Ramona BLVD and Peck RD. This intersection is notorious for being busy and filled with traffic during rush hour, and having a place as delicious and refreshing Tierra Mia is bittersweet, as it convenient, but also brings in more traffic. Its well worth it in my opinion though. The Drive Thru is pretty noticeable and easy to navigate but parking can be a mess. Theres other businesses and I'm assuming apartments it shares a parking lot with so that may be a little frustrating to deal with.
Customer service is always great and the wait is never too long even when the line is long. I usually always decide to come into the establishment though so your experience may differ if you decide to go through the drive-thru.
I've had quite of bit of Tierra Mia's menu through previous experiences, like the Tres De Leche Muffin, the Vegan Strawberry Muffin, Hot Lattes, Ice Horchata Latte, Lemonades, etc. Everything I've had was excellent and well worth coming here for. Everything is priced similarly to any other coffee shops so it doesn't hurt the wallet. It does hurt the wallet though in how much I come here just because of how good it is.
Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to come here. They have nice and tasty unique pastries and all their drinks are unique. Service is great and if you decide to come in, make sure to look around as the place...
Read moreThe staff is friendly. The store has the smallest and most unusual drive thru. Make sure you enter Northbound on Peck Rd to avoid frustration. Not a very big store but does have inside seating along with few outside seats. They have all sorts of pastries, coffee and a variety of coffee drinks including Pour Overs, drip coffee, blended ice coffee drinks etc. They also carry fresh roasted whole bean coffee typically sold in 12 oz packages, which are fresh roasted typically within 2 weeks or less. They carry a variety of Latin American coffees from places like Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, Columbia just to name a few. Please note: They light roast their coffee beans in order to produce a nuttier, earthier profile which brings out a typically brighter in the cup profile. So if you like some of the more darker roast profiles you won't...
Read moreWe were heading out of LA and wanted some coffee from somewhere other than your typical Starbucks or Dutch Bros. We are so happy to have stumbled upon this spot.
They had the options we wanted which was just a cup of coffee, not espresso or anything, and customizable. I got a white mocha lavender coffee and the hubby just got coffee with cream. We even got a blended vanilla cream milk for our kiddo and he loved it. There were many people waiting for drinks and even more in their drive thru, which goes to show how in-demand their coffee was but even so, it did not take long to get our order. The coffee itself was delicious, definitely a different flavor profile than those name brand coffees. And the price of everything was more than affordable. We are stopping here next time we are in the...
