Aurora Rolling Ice Cream — Restaurant in El Paso

First time visiting this place, and my kids and I liked the ice cream and the various options they had on their menu. We hadn't tried rolling ice cream before, so my kids were impressed. However, it took 45 minutes to get our order ready because there was only one poor guy working by himself. We felt bad for him because he had other customers and was doing everything by himself, taking orders and preparing them. After about 35 minutes of waiting, a guy shows up giving manager/ owner vibes, only to check the register and to grab treats from a jar with his bare hands and putting it in his mouth just like that. Even my kids questioned those manners. I don't know if I'm going off topic here, afterall I did not mind the waiting, but I did not think it was appropriate for that person (manager/ owner NOT the employee working previously by himself) to do that in front of customers, and hopefully they see this review so they don't do that again. It gives a bad image to the business. The place is cute. The menu can a bit overwhelming (only because I have a bunch of kids under 5 who can’t read yet and all like very different things) all on mini chalkboards they have a great variety of flavors and toppings. The young lady who attended us was kind and quick as she was alone in the store. After she took our order and handled the cash she didn’t wash her hands while continuing to finish the order she was working on. In the rolling station I noticed little cups with liquid ice cream base from previous orders, they weren’t rinsed before using or after! They were simply placed back on the windowsill for the next order. I KNOW that’s not ok as that’s dairy, bacteria can form in room temperature! The location is across from Hanks High school in a shopping strip with easy access and handicap accessible. They offer in store, delivery thru Door Dash and are pretty affordable.
