We loved the food here and have been coming for sometime now. Today bad service. No one came to greet or take our order for 10 min. Mind you only 3 other guest. Our waiter was a guy that was talking to a lady guest at the bar and was the reason why he didn’t come to us even tho he looked at us a couple of times. Was kinda rude when taking our order and went straight back to talking with the lady guest at the bar. After that he never came back. In fact the lady waiter brought our food. I did ask her if the guy was our waiter or her. She stated the guy waiter was ours. The guy forgot to put our gyozas order so had to ask for them the lady which she had to put the order. Ask to speak with the owner but was busy. The guy waiter found out that we wanted to speak with the owner and stated he would get the owners wife that was next door. I really dont think that was the wife as she didn’t know what to say when I told her the other waiter(not our waiter) had to help us because the guy was talking to the lady guest the whole time we were there. They offered to give us free items. We declined and that was not the point. I feel bad for the lady waiter as she was the only one working. I am able having good food and service, food is not good when the service is bad. Sad to say never coming back. Wish the owner would keep up with customer satisfaction as I reached out on Facebook, email and phone and no...

Seriously disappointed! The family and I were pretty excited to find a ramen place and are sad to say we won’t be returning. We are vegetarian so my wife ordered the veggie miso and I ordered the spicy miso. Typically miso dishes are vegetarian but when my bowl came out it had pork. The waiter pointed out that it was on the menu as “chatsu”. I let him know it was an honest mistake but he was not willing to try to help the situation. I asked if we could switch it for tofu and was advised we be charged for the bowl so we had to order another bowl. I took my son to the restroom and noticed the light cover plate was not on the switch leaving exposed wiring (health or fire Spector anyone) and the sink was being held up by a wooden dowel with the words “do not move” written on it. The waiter was not rude but filled the visit with moments of long awkward pauses and even said he did not know if they had any extra bowls so we could share a bowl of noodles with the kids. Overall based on this experience this place is not family friendly and the waiters could use some restraining in customer service. Do yourself a favor and try Reds Ramen Ya or Kaedema instead for a much...

Went here for dinner today and hadn't been since around August. Sadly disappointed. The place is completely different. Used to go there not just for the food, but for the ambience. They used to show cool animes on the tv and play cool anime/video game related music, but they're trying to turn the place into any other El Paso bar playing pop tunes and playing the NFL network while the anime is on mute. I ordered an iced green tea and it tasted very old, like moldy dishwater. Our food was disappointing compared to what it was before. The broccoli in our teriyaki chicken was old, the chicken did not taste the same at all and was over cooked and dry. We also ordered two tonkotsu ramens and they did not come with as many add ONS as before, you have to pay extra for them now. The pork was overcooked, and the tonkotsu broth wasn't bad but definitely does not have the same flavor anymore. Tasted almost like it was watered down. We used to love this place, but sadly it's time to find a new one. If you want to enjoy a dos Equis and watch the football game while eating some mediocre ramen, by all...

Great small local ramen gig in front of Hanks H.S. it's easy to overlook since there are so many other businesses in that area but it is worth the try. The first thing to notice when walking in is all the anime memorabilia as well as multiple anime playing on the TV (Naruto and Avatar the last Airbender). Super fun! But even if you are not into Ramen you will definitely enjoy their food. One of the things I did notice is that like many other places they are short staffed but the girl behind the counter/waitress/hostess did an excellent job at keeping up with all her tables. My one regret was not getting the actual Ramen and instead getting a teriyaki rice bowl. The rice bowl was super cheap and huge despite being the mini. Thanks to my family I got to try the ramen and the miso soup. The miso soup was to die for.... It was exquisite and it is a must try. You will also get free refills of the miso soup. Overall thank you to this plac for providing a warm meal on a cold night next time I'm back I will 100% be getting the ramen. Please go try it and support local.

First time eating here, as an appetizer i ordered the STEAMED GYOZA (PORK), it was so tasteful, 6 gyoza's for $5 it's worth it. Then i ordered the BLACK GARLIC TONKOTSU$12.50 Pork-based Broth with black garlic oil, Chashu, Egg, Green Onion, Mushroom, Nori, Bok Choy, Garlic Flakes. I love it the broth was amazing, the black garlic makes it taste more delicious, i was surprised how big the bowl of ramen was. i do recommend this Yamaguchi Ramen although is super small it is a relax place to have a drink and a delicious ramen. I also tried the SPICY TONKOTSU$11.50 Spicy sauce, Pork-based Broth, Chashu, Torreado, Egg, Green Onion, Mushroom, Nori, Bok Choy, Garlic Flakes. All i can said is that if you love spicy food you are going to love this bowl of ramen noodles... to me it was super spicy but it had a very good flavor. 👍

This place is aesthetically pleasing. Absolutely gorgeous. Awesome waitresses and such a chill vibe. However, the food is over priced and under seasoned. I got one of the spicy ramen flavors and I expected some sort of kick at least. Instead all I had was grease over gummy noodles and cold pork. Not to mention the random lettuce in my ramen. I have never had ramen that had lettuce as opposed to bean sprouts and corn at least there was some bok choy. I love ramen and I travel around El Paso looking for the best ramen places. This unfortunately didn’t leave a good impression. If the food was as amazing as the restaurant itself then this place would have blown my mind. Extremely disappointed. 2 stars is me being generous.
