Ryoma Japanese Restaurant is an absolute gem when it comes to dining experiences! I cannot stop raving about their fantastic sushi, which undoubtedly ranks amongst the best in town. From the moment you step foot into the restaurant, you are greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the tone for a truly memorable meal.

Now, let's talk about the chef - he is truly a master of his craft! Every dish he creates is a work of art, meticulously prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. I always make it a point to ask him to surprise me with his specialties, and each time, I am left absolutely amazed by the flavors and presentation that grace my plate.

The sushi at Ryoma is nothing short of exceptional. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the rice is perfectly seasoned and prepared. Each bite is a burst of exquisite flavors that dance on your palate, leaving you craving for more. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just starting your culinary journey, Ryoma offers a wide variety of options to cater to every taste and preference.

The service at Ryoma is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always eager to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of spectacular. They are more than willing to offer recommendations and answer any questions you may have, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door.

In conclusion, if you're searching for an extraordinary sushi experience, look no further than Ryoma Japanese Restaurant. With their talented chef, exceptional sushi, and impeccable service, they have truly perfected the art of creating a memorable dining experience. Sushi is fresh, rice is delicious, their green tea was more like hot water and I had to ask for more matcha in order to even taste the tea. For the price point I would have expected more for my money. I would say this place is extremely overpriced, other than that the food is very good, the selection is excellent, and the exhibition is on point. However, I don't like feeling like I'm still hungry when I leave someplace I spent $75. They didn't even offer us free miso, nor did they give a salad per policy, even though we ordered well above their $10 worth of sushi. The reason why I know that this is what they were supposed to do, is that I saw a little sticky note from the management to the employees to serve these things, but we recieved neither. Again, for the price point, I would have expected cold, filtered water, but what we got was lukewarm tap water with some half-melted ice. Our drinks never did cool down, and the taste of the water left me feeling unsatiated. For two people, we got a very small amount of ginger; to properly enjoy sushi, one must take a piece of ginger between bites of sushi in order to cleanse the palate. There simply was not enough for that practice, and when we receive more plates, they did not refill the ginger until we requested more. Overall, I felt there is much to be desired. What can be learned here, is that there is more to what can be called a great night out then just good food. One can get great food, at a more modest price, and have a wonderful time elsewhere. I feel as if everything should have been up to the same standard as the sushi chef gave to his creations. As it was, I left feeling as if there was much...

Similar to a review from 2 months ago, we went in at 8:00 thinking we had plenty of time to order and time to spare. At first we were served fast, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The Asian lady is really nice and adorable, she was playing with my son and talking to him. Where it all went wrong was when we ordered another roll at 8:50, and a girl server came up to us and said "after this roll that's it because we're closed". We asked her if they close at 9? And she rudely said "yes" which once we left at 9:16, we noticed they actually closed at 9:30. I totally get that it was close to closing time, but it would've been nice to know at a certain time that we had very little time to place more orders, because we would've ordered everything we wanted to finish off the night. Instead, we felt rushed and unwelcomed especially once we placed the order for the roll and the chef cooking was yelling and getting angry. Overall this is by far the best sushi in town, but I guess go with time if not it feels like you're being rushed and kicked out. Also they don't have high chairs or anything for babies, my son was just standing on one...

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The staff is great, it's clean, very clean, and the food is SO good. I'm super skeptical about sushi in the middle of the desert but I could eat here every day without hesitation. No fishy smells, everything tasted fresh, the presentation and plating was fantastic. The ambiance is very calm and pleasing, nothing flashy or over the top so it's comfortable. They have seating right where the chef puts the food together as well as tables/chairs. I 100% recommend this place because of all the places I've eaten in El Paso, this one is one of my favorites.

Riyoma is by far the best sushi restaurant in east El Paso. I've tried several and while tasty, nothing has had the freshness and creativity that Riyona provides. I would recommend sitting at the sushi bar. We've gotten to know KC, the sushi chef, and don't even bother with a menu. Below are some of the items he created based on our pallets. That's the best part and what sets Riyoma apart from others with it's more traditional sushi bar service. It's a staple in our meals out.

Delightful restaurant with fresh sushi and proper Japanese cuisine. We tried their Koroke, and it was crunchy on the outside and soft-yummy in the inside. Then we got sushi pieces. All of them tasted fresh and flavorful. We quickly took over $100 for two with tip. There are cheaper options in the menu. The only down is the decor. It's run by more seasoned staff who are friendlyand prompt. A very good option for El Paso tasty sushi.
