This trendy bakery brings the LOOKS, FLAVOR, and SELECTION. This is a traditional bakery where when they sell out, that's it, G, so show up early. I appreciate that as it guarantees freshness and some of the traditional Mexican bakeries in town DO NOT STACK UP. They are bringing the variety of baked goods that are NOT traditional. I HAD: blueberry eclair: amazing. slaps. ratio of cream to jam, superb. I found the dough to be very doughnut like but it still had the light, crispness that I expect in an eclair. nutter butter: THE SNAP ON THE BISCUIT IS AMAZING. like what? good for yall for getting the butter/flour right because it coulda gone cookie but AHHHHH the buttercream peanut butter doesn't overwhelm, just awesome. macarons: rose, vanilla, animal cracker; slaps. had the squishy/crunchiness that the American macarons lack. I thought the specialty macaron had more bounce to it. really great filling. I thought the flavors were good, bright, while still allowing to taste the airiness of the cookie. 5 STARS FOR: VARIETY, QUALITY, SERVICE, PRICE (JESUS YALL COULD CHARGE A LOT MORE), AND LOCATION/VIBE.

I didn’t know when I woke up this morning that I would be compelled to write a review about the best apple fritter I’ve ever put on my mouth but, here we are. I’ve been to Bella Cora many times. Usually I get one of the sourdough loafs if there are any left. You see, sourdough drops on Thursdays and I only go to Bella Cora Bakery on Saturday mornings when my kids are at music lessons. I’ve had the scones, the macaroons, the breakfast toasts that have green chile, egg and bacon before, but I don’t remember having a fritter. Let me tell ya, this fritter looked like what a fritter should look like. Picked out the two most majestic looking apple fritters and when I got home-wow. Crispy on the outside and with a flavor!! Oh Em Gee!! The flavor!! And texture! And inside yummy doughy, sweet fluffiness!! I tell ya, BEST apple fritter I’ve EVER had in my life. Now if only I could convince the owner to make ciabatta…… 😉

I bought a variety box for my birthday boy and oh my! They all tasted delicious! I bought the Matcha cheesecake, the lemon cheesecake, the sunny side up, the berry tart, the cannoli and the tiramisu. I loved how they are not too sweet. Our favorite, the berry tart. I finished the tiramisu and the sunny side up. After doing this, I recommend a variety box for a birthday, rather than buying a cake that is one flavor for all. I also bought some bread including the croissant 🥐 an apple fritter with bacon 🥓 and pecans, a cinnamon bun and a cheese danish and I loved the taste of all. My faves were the apple 🍏 fritter and the croissant. The picture only shows half of the apple fritter and the cinnamon bun 😋

No longer good and management is unreasonable! Twice my rose macarons tasted like they had no flavor. Possibly just left out rose essence!🤷🏽‍♀️But no question they were plain. Last time I didn’t mention it because they were just under flavored, but this time I asked for a refund because there was no rose at all. I’ve LOVED them and eaten them for years. This was 1000% the bakery’s error and they won’t make it right. Said no to a refund and blamed it on them being brought to me same day at room temperature. Same thing my sweet husband has done for me for years, not the problem!! Quality was bad and they obviously can’t fathom that being the case. Pretty arrogant of them...It’s sad because their macarons before ownership change were magical!! Hope they taste one and realize they blew it, but usually in cases like this the customer loses. End of an era 😢...7 months prego too and was excited to have some as a treat.

*owner response below does not change the fact that I’ve been buying these for 8+ years and my husband ALWAYS brings them to us in Arizona same day They’ve ALWAYS kept and been WONDERFUL. SUPER BAD business practices to take no accountability for bad product. I get you don’t need one customer and you can just get away with being a jerk, but it doesn’t make you right!! Taste your...

The pastries they offer aren't for everyone, as I saw on a recent Facebook post from the owner. He shared a private message that a customer had sent him in regards to a brownie the customer thought was uncooked. He posted screenshots and joked about it. Apparently he thought it was okay to share a private message with all of Facebook. Clearly the owner doesn't take criticism very well. By him sharing that post at the "former customers" expense, makes me question his character as a person/ business owner. For this reason I don't think I want to be a customer any longer of this establishment. This is not the first time the owner "Jon" has responded in a unprofessional manner. I don't care how good he thinks his pastries are, there's always better elsewhere. I understand it's a matter of opinion, but it's all about how you handle criticism. So best of luck with your business, hard times are coming. You might need to make...
