I'm originally from Dallas and recently moved to El Paso and was so excited that El Paso was opening up a Daiso. Recently, I had a major surgery and only recently able to move around on crutches. It took a lot for me to get myself to visit Daiso, but I was too eager to go asap. There were two employees standing at the front entrance that never bothered to open the door for me despite me being on crutches(one). They just stared and then offered the couple behind me a basket, but not me. The whole time (one hour) of me walking around the store carrying everything with the one hand I could use, not one employee offered me a basket but would offer it to other people near me. I think I had 3 shoppers that offered me help and we're very friendly overall. I don't know if the store manager hired a bunch of ableist, but if you disabled in any way, you won't be welcomed here.

The store provides an opportunity to find authentic goods. You can experience the quality and craftsmanship often associated with Japan. Moreover, it allows individuals to experience a piece of Japan. Ultimately, the store presents a nice collection for those seeking distinctive items.

Always great, quick checkout, very organized. It is bigger than the George Dieter one. *Updates* Staff isnt great at monitoring the products freshness, i often found expired products on shelves, who wants to pay full price for expired products, make sure u check the date of expiry

You need to have at least one person on staff that speaks English. I don’t understand how I go to a store and ask for help and I cant find a single English speaker that understands enough English to answer my questions. We even asked for a manager 3 times just to get some help. The manager never showed up. Truly disappointing customer service. The store is nice and clean and decently stocked and the prices are about dollar general prices and quality. But the customer service puts me off. I don’t travel to Mexico expecting the store associate to speak English to me, the least I expect from a stateside store is comprehensible English from at least one associate. The associates didn’t understand and because of that continuously cut us off and walked away from us instead of trying to understand. This will be the first time I’m actually going to save my receipt, and write to corporate this is so...

Sigh said to ask for assistance for restroom use. Employee claims it’s out of order and from my experience that just means they don’t want you to use it. One that is VERY illegal and two I have a fainting disorder in which I don’t have a choice but to drink minimum a gallon of water a day. Denying someone restroom use for having a medical condition is also very illegal...
