We went in to celebrate my brothers birthday. My brother has really liked this restaurant for a very long time and this is the restaurant he chose for us to have dinner. We walked in at 4:40pm, and wanted a table for 9 people. We were told it would be some time to get seated. The hostess comes back and says that to sit us quicker, she could get us 2 booths, either side by side, or back to back. So we say that’s fine, and we would prefer side to side. She then comes back and says, to get 2 booths, side by side, might take longer, so if we do back to back booths, we would sit quicker. So we say that’s fine. Then the hostess comes back again and says that they can sit us in one of the bigger round booths, but we say no, and I pointed out 2 booths that I see, back to back, and ask if we can have those. She says “yes, I’ll get you those booths”, and steps away. In that minute that she stepped away, another family comes in, they are immediately greeted by another server/host and he hugs them (I’m assuming they were family or friends) and takes them to one of the booths I had just asked our hostess about. It seemed like our hostess realizes what just happened, she goes up to the other server/host and she points in our direction, and points back at the booth, and he looks at us. So I’m assuming she’s telling him that she was going to sit us in those booths. She then goes up to a guy in a maroon shirt, his name is Manny, and Manny seems to kind of shrug it off. So our hostess comes back in our direction, and I ask the hostess if we were going to be able to get two booths together. Right then, manny comes up, cuts me off and says “we can give you that big round booth” and I told him no, and as I’m about to explain that the hostess already gave us that option, Manny, very arrogantly says, “I was about to give you your options” and so I said said, “ok, we heard the big booth option, and we already said no, what are the other options” and he said “you can wait”. At this point, we had already been waiting 40 minutes. The restaurant was not that busy, and a lot of other families had come in after us and had been sat fairly quickly. So I told manny, that we had been waiting for a while, and I wanted to know how much longer we needed to wait because we could go to any other restaurant, and he said “ok”. So our family left.
We ended up going to BJ’s a couple restaurants over. BJs had about the relatively same amount of business. We were sat down in 5 minutes. The staff was a lot more professional and attentive. The manager came up to us, greeted us, thanked us as we were leaving. They were very pleasant and professional. The complete opposite of the experience we had at Bubbas.
Manny looked very unhappy with his job, and needs some training on proper management skills. He could probably learn a thing or 2 from the...
Read moreI thought the Las cruses location was horrible in every aspect and thought it couldn't get any worse smh! Well, Surprise it can el Paso takes home the trophy. The greeting at the door by the manager was great till he came behind the bar and served my husband a so called 220z beer mug and left over 2 inches of foam in it and walked away is where it all started. Bar only had a few patrons. Bar server did not greet us or asked us if we needed menu's so I crabed a couple from a few seats away. He was very unfriendly n rude. My husband was waiting for the foam to go down before taking his first sip of his beer. and I said wait a minute you're paying for a 220z beer and you got about 190z of beer lets ask the Bartender to fill it to the rim as it should be cause your not paying for foam and cant drink it. Thats when the bartender started it all . His reply, rudly was that's the way we serve it and that's that!!! I said well we'd like it to be full no foam and get what we paid for which isn't foam that can't be consumed and the 220z beer we're paying for . He repeated himself even in a ruder manner. We were gonna order food and a drink fir myself. But at this point there was no way in hell we were gonna spend another dime in this awful horrible place and be treated like that and pay for anything that we were paying for and it would be their way or the high way. So, we decided to finish the beer and leave. I would of rather that after the Bartender rudeness and disrespect that my husband and I should of left as the beer was served not at our satisfaction and don't drink it or pay and just leave cause we're paying for something that isnt what's being served. Right thing to have done was don't touch it or consume it and leave. Their ripping off customers by selling 220z of beer and giving you 190z. I didn't order my drink or our food of course that was our original intention. It's understandable why the place was empty like that on a Saturday night smh. Service like that who would patron a horrible place and service with attitude aggressiveness like that. We believe as many of our friends that Bubba will not exist sooner than later with this horrible bussinessship they contuct!! Good bye Bubba gave you guys more chances than you deserved. Do not waste your money or time doing business. I've spoken to Mr. Garcia at corporate a lengthy call and he had me on mute pretented he was listening and concerned and he'd address the matter at the las Cruses and to try the el paso location and he apologized with no sincerity or genuine care. It's no wonder the staff and the restaurant is operating in this manner....look at the corporate management...
Read more1st time visit on Sunday right at opening time of 11am. Upon walking toward the doors the 1st thing I noticed was how loud the music sounded. Inside the music seemed quite loud in my opinion and I have 2 teenagers who don't project their voices so it was difficult for our server to hear what they were ordering. Our server apologized for how loud the music is and mentioned how a lot of people ask for the volume to be lowered but management cannot because "it's company policy". Really? Having music so loud that you can't really have a decent conversation without having to shout over the music and other people's shouting is company policy? Alrighty then! 👎🏻 On to the menu. It has a decent array of appetizers, salads, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and dinner entrees. I, don't really drink alcoholic beverages but the drink menu looked quite colorful with their variety of cocktails. I may give one a try if I decide to come back some other day. My meal consisted of a chicken tender platter with a side of fire fries and mac & cheese. Maybe because this is their rush hour they have to have some of the food prepared in advance and I could tell the fries had been sitting around for a bit as they were barely warm but the "fire" seasoning gave them a good tang & kick. The Mac was a just too bland for my liking. The breadcrumbs on top is what had the seasoning but the pasta itself was unfortunately tasteless and my son agreed. Otherwise, the chicken tenders were tasty, juicy and a good size. My teens ordered a plate of wings and a Stromboli. They didn't have much to say about their food other than it was okay. Not sure if I want to come back simply because the music is annoyingly loud and started giving me a headache. Don't get me wrong I enjoy listening to music especially what was playing but it was just too loud to enjoy a meal out with my kids. Give this place a try and see what you think. You may enjoy the loud atmoshphere and food better...
