The food was delicious. I ordered a Lasagna and a small house pizza. We were told to wait 25 minutes for the order, which was all reasonable. We paid and stayed outside waiting in our car.
After 25 minutes I walked back inside to pick up the food I ordered and paid for already. Well, I was told that the Lasagna was ready but the pizza needed an extra 3 minutes. I said okay, no problem.
Then I saw approximately 4 other customers come and pick up their food, and several dine in customers getting their food and I was still waiting. 10 more minutes have gone by and the cashier tells me that they are packing my pizza now. So, I'm ready to go and leave, but no. Another 10 minutes pass and then the cashier tells me that there has been a mistake and that my pizza order was never put in by him and that he apologizes but it will be 5 more minutes and it will be ready.
So in total I had to wait 53 minutes for a Lasagna and a small house pizza that I placed in person. So no mistake with over the phone order or anything.
Like I said the food was good and my only problem was with the service. I want to clarify that the place wasn't completely full or the business short staff. This was just they dropped the ball and I was the one that got screwed in this visit.
Just wanted to put it out there so that everyone understand that we are all human and stuff happens. To be completely honest and in the cashier defense he did apologize and even offered me some money back. I was upset at the time and try my best to keep my cool and just told him I just take the food and go on my way.
No hard feelings,...
Read moreI heard so many good things about this restaurant, I decided to give them a try with something basic. I went in on a Friday about 1pm and ordered 2 plates of spaghetti with meatballs, to go. I was attended you quickly and I even left a %15 tip ($29.58 total) Me order was filled within the 10 minutes I was told it would take. My name was called out and an employee had my order in a bag. Both the foam clam shell plates were at a 45 degree angle in the bag! I knew my food would be all bunched up to one side. I gave the employee a look. He gave me my order, I leveled out the plates in the bag. I did not see any significant amount of sauce leak out of the box so I stayed silent and took my order home. Once home I opened the clam she'll plates. A tiny bit of the sauce did spill out both plates, but the spaghetti looked relatively ok, just shifted all to one side of the plate. The garlic bread size was laughable. It was so tiny, both portions looked like a sample size (not much bigger than my thumb). I wish I had taken a photo, but we were pretty hungry and just dug in. The meatballs and sauce were rather bland. Based on this experience I will not...
Read moreAbsolutely love this place. Loved it in the old location, love it more in the new location. The pastrami sandwich is 👌and the tuna sandwich? Delicious, especially with jalapeños. All their pizza is great, super cheesy and real fresh ingredients. The salads are generous, and though I've only had a few, I did especially enjoy the green olives that were added.
The gyro here is my favorite. I've had gyros at many different places in different cities, but this is my favorite place for them. I think it's a personal preference thing for me, they're really generous on the tzatziki sauce unlike most places, but the lamb also just taste so much more flavorful, I can pick out the spices and such. Other places, the lamb may as well be any other meat, I couldn't tell the difference, but I'm also just an average guy who likes good food.
In short, try this place, and then keep trying it. The wait may be longer than you'd like on some days (cause everyone wants some), but it's so worth it. Plus, you're supporting...
