This is a bit of a gist as to what happened. I sent this as constructive criticism on our part.
Hello, we would like to reach out to give some constructive criticism. My wife and I own a 2022 Nissan Kicks and we are okay with the car, we have no full intention of truly trading it in, unless at the right price.
I want to explain that we have been contacted a total of five times by sales personnel at the Montana dealership. These personnel wanted to see if we could trade in our vehicle for a better vehicle. The first two times, we went thinking it would work out. We stated we need the following:
360 degree camera Match payments we have We cannot afford a down payment
Those first two times, we were assured that was going to be able to happen. We got there and they told us there was too much negative equity on the car being traded in.
Keep in mind, we went through Barry the first time we traded in a vehicle and the process went smooth, especially since he was desperate for our vehicle. (Keep in mind I said he was the one desperate, not us, that will come into play soon).
We understood and we decided to see further down the road if that was possible later, especially after Barry tried to upsell a vehicle we didn't care for in the first place the second time.
Fast forward to later, we were contacted twice by more personnel and to avoid going over to the dealership and wasting our time (upwards of three to four hours sometimes, when I could be practicing for my career as a Court Reporter), we let them know our requirements and if they can meet them.
They told us no through text and that was that.
Fast forward to yesterday. Giselle texts me and wants to know if we can trade in our vehicle for something better. I explained the situation even going as far as explaining our past experiences with their dealership.
She talked to my wife, who was reassured that after talking to her sales manager, she can easily match us and we gave it a shot.
Keep in mind, this is the last week of Summer for EPCC, and I have finals that I have to work on by Saturday.
We went to the dealership and we're reassured, until for whatever reason she forgot that we had a vehicle to trade in.
They looked through Nissan Financing and saw that with the negative equity and how we have been trading in voluntarily our vehicle 3 times already they would need something in return such as a down payment and such, and even then they couldn't match our payment by 100 dollars a month.
We told the sales manager that this is the fifth time we do this and it is a complete waste of time, especially since I could be practicing my Stenography for the Finals.
He claims we are the ones wanting to trade in the vehicle and we are desperate, but we are not the ones begging for something to happen, given that Giselle explained she needs this for a point system that Nissan has. We were willing to do the courtesy at the right price which she assured us would happen at first.
I get it, financing can be tricky, and sometimes you are not in control of that, but this is ridiculous and it wasted both our and their time when it comes down to this.
We are both substitute teachers and just finished the summer with no income so our budget is stretched thin, and they kept saying, well can you at least put 2000 when we couldn't afford to even put any money down.
I would appreciate if you speak with your team about this, because after last night, my wife and I said this is the last time we will do this, and once I get my career as a Court Reporter, we are going to turn to another...

Ā Ā Ā Read more*First time buyer My experience from the very start was a welcoming approach from our gentleman salesmanās Marc Anthony Meza. Greeted and instantly treated to generally amazing hospitality, the process was long and tedious but it was only in the name of getting the best price with the lowest possible monthly payments. My personal credit score was terrible as I have never had prior credit to my name, however Marc and his team at Casa Nissan didnāt let that stop them, they tried several different methods to negotiate a car thatās right for me. Surely enough were able to score a bank willing to finance my car. The process then came to a long road full of constant pacing of workers and feet going back and forth getting stamps and advice from office to office, however Marc and his associates did give reassurance that they are all hard at work to get you the best and as fast as they could get it. Throughout my entire experience Marc gave his financial advice alongside being very playful and friendly and giving personal advice catered to how I would feel if he were in my shoes, finding cars writhing my range of approval but also very stylish and classy. Bumps in the road were to be expected along the drive to getting my car but I was met with more good news than bad the entire time there. Marc himself was very straightforward and blunt about both the cars and payments, his communication was phenomenal as he would communicate any trouble or issues he ran into along the way. In the end, I walked in hoping for a Nissan Altima to which I almost got a close second with Marc finding me a Sentra, but I left with a Kia Forte which in turn surprised me and left me very impressed as he tried his best to cater to my needs and what I wanted in car despite the banks refusing the initial cars. Fought for best possible payments that worked with me and nothing more than I couldnāt afford. This was definitely an excellent experience because Marc and the team at Casa Nissan really left me seeing different light in Car Salespeople as the team really held to their Moto of being THE home of the Good/Nice Guys. Definitely recommend buying your cars here if you want quality and reassurance especially for new buyers (as well as...
