Night time Management needs to get their employees checked especially on their integrity. They give out watered down gravy that is DISGUSTING and burn your chicken strips and act like its a normal thing or they have no idea what we are talking about.. I have to literally show them.
To allow this to go out though is on management. Everything should be noticed and that employee should be placed on another station or something because they reflect off management and if they feel like they can get away with things well they do it. . . How unfortunate even late nights when we get off work super late and have to get home with a disgusting order and spending $40 not even for dine in experience. It sucks.
They don't give the EXTRAS so you pay for either so extra gravy or extra strips, make sure you check before leaving. The employees use this to keep for themselves. Again integrity and night time manager or supervisor needs to deal with this. I am not the only one it happens to. I called in the other day because I got home late again and decided to give this place a go after a few weeks so I did door dash that was $60 for my daughter, as well. We get the order Dasher was fast and very nice watching that dasher tracker lol excited for the order and starving we get into the food . My daughters burger watery from the lettuce so soggy bread and cold half filled fries. Then I look at my meal and what pissed me off was no extra gravy, BURNT STRIPS and yup gravy flavored murky water in that gravy cup.
I don't like free meals or to complain but damn this was $60 and working my ass off that day to come home to this was bull. So I called and ONLY complained on the gravy because that could have helped with the hard strips you know even ketchup for the fries and nothing. He asked if I wanted to come back for a gravy. and then told me he would have a gravy for me tomorrow. . . I don't want the gravy anymore I just want to get a refund at this point and never go back again. So disappointed in my...
Read moreSo everytime i come the service is always horrible and wasn't suprised it was the same. Today i went and ordered my usual , I'm allergic to lettuce and i dislike tomatos.. So i went ahead and ordered the way i like my meal as a large. I get my order and check if everything is okay. So i checked if everything was there and i don't open every wrapper because ill just waste time. My meal instead of being large was a small but i wasn't going to make a big deal about it. Anyways i open my burger and it's wrong. Instead of taking off the lettuce they removed the pickles. So i called and they went ahead and asked me to wait to check the cameras to see if i was lying. They asked me to bring my whole order and reciept and they will replace it. Usually any restaurant shouldn't take the food back for purposes that i wont get into. So they said i have to give back the burger because apparently if im allergic i don't have eat it. I get to the place and the manager asked me to tell him the truth, starts to argue with my boyfriend and i , then says he was going to give us large but now he's just going to give us small. Talks to his employees about something and keep staring back at us. Gives me my order and once i am leaving they all start laughing. Mistakes are mistakes and its okay but honestly this is the first time whata asked me for my order back. I recommend whata by bowie, best service and they don't ask for the order back, they'll just give you a newer one. Never coming back and making sure everyone i know...
Read moreMy wife and I and entire family have been loyal customers of the Whataburger on the corner of Montana and Trowbridge for about twenty years. The food has always been fresh and delicious and the service has always been great. Unfortunately, all that changed today. We ordered a double green chili burger, a Whataburger Jr. (dry/no condiments, or toppings) and large onion rings (we were told that they did not have onion rings. Upon arriving home, we noticed that we were not given our double green chili burger and the Jr. burger had onions, pickles, and tomatoes. (we had asked for it to be plain-just meat and bread). The Jr. burger was also cold. Our receipt, however, indicated that we had been charged for a double meat chili burger but we received a single patty bacon burger and the Jr. burger was not as ordered. My wife then called Whataburger and spoke to a female manager. The manager told my wife rudely to bring the food back to the Whataburger location. When my wife arrived, the counter attendant told my wife “you didn’t have to return it”, my wife replied “the manager told me to return it”. My wife was then given a double green chili burger. It is therefore apparent to us that this Whataburger is suffering from sub-par management. Good managers always lead by example, this is obviously not the case at this location. Needless to say, our family will no longer patronize this location. If we could, we would give this...
