Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in El Paso

Hello, I just wanted to come on here cause this this the second time I’ve gone through this, I had gone and there’s a guy in the the front and this guy has a long line waiting for him but he ends up helping a woman with her food cause it was a big order which I understand it happens, so I see a bunch of employees come from the back and there just standing there laughing and talking like do u guys not see this line then ig the manager is just standing there looking then 15 mins goes by and finally the manager stops staring then asks the guy in front of me if he already been help he explained to him he’s been waiting there and no employee has gotten to him, the manager then tells the group of employees to get back to work after 20 minutes people start to leave at this point cause poor guy doing all that by himself..!!! the next Time I go back it’s a girl the line wasn’t long. It was nice and steady. She gets to me and was immediately rude. And I asked her politely can I please get an extra scoop because she was giving me these baby scoops not even my bowl was full That’s how little of the scoops she was giving me, So she proceeded to roll her eyes at me, then gives me the extra scoop, but just throw it in there, so I tell her you know what it’s fine I do not want to order from you anymore. I ordered Chipotle for my wife, hoping to give her a nice lunch, but what she received was honestly unacceptable and incredibly disappointing.

Her order was supposed to be a Beef Barbacoa Burrito Bowl with a plentiful variety of veggies and additional options.

What actually arrived? A bowl with one giant, unappetizing chunk of meat instead of the shredded beef she ordered. No pinto beans. Hardly any of the salsas, sour cream, queso, guacamole, or veggies. But there was an overwhelming amount of lettuce, so much that it felt like we ordered a plain salad with a lump of mystery meat tossed on top.

To make matters worse, the Coca-Colas arrived with the bottles wet, sticky, and feeling gross to the touch, adding to the overall disappointing experience. It completely killed the enjoyment I was hoping to give her while I was away, unable to cook her anything homemade.

We’ve ordered from Chipotle plenty of times before, but this was by far one of the worst experiences. Food presentation and care were completely lacking, and attention to detail was nonexistent.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but when you spend good money for a simple, fresh meal and get something that looks and feels careless, it deserves to be called out.

This location made me very unhappy in terms of service, and handling. My fiance and me went to this location just recently and unfortunately I am not sure i want to go anymore. The store was empty when we walked in, and it took the staff over a minute or so for us to be greeted at the front. ( keep in mind we were standing right in front of them) as they started to take our orders they rushed and missed requests for food to be added and closed our food before we finished adding our choices(making us ask them to reopen the containers to add more. When we got home, my fiancee went to pull out his food and it all fell out of the container. We saw that the lid to the bowl was not put in properly and tightly.
