Verde Salad Co. — Local services in El Paso

The large salads are bigger than my head. I got the La Cobb, and my husband got the Spicy Taco salad. We also got the cucumber lemonade and berry-biscus drinks.

The salads were fantastic- it's set up similar to a Subway or Firehouse, you start your order at the back of the store, and move towards the front/register as someone makes your salad, so you can customize it.

The service was great, though it definitely felt a little chaotic, and there were nearly some mishaps with 3-4 servers on the line, and some elbows and other things narrowly missing one of the shorter staff member's face.

The drinks were delicious, though the cucumber lemonade appears to be made from powder, since it kept settling to the bottom of the cup and having to be mixed back in repeatedly. They offer sweet, unsweetened or Splenda sweetened, and we chose sweet for both of our drinks, maybe that makes a difference? But it didn't happen with the hibiscus...

Food is great but service is horrible. This is the second time I get bad service. And definitely the last time i will be visiting this establishment. I picked up an order i placed online and when i got there i was asked for a confirmation. I have picked up orders before and have never been asked to give a confirmation. This young person made me feel like i was taking someone elses food. I accidentally dropped one of the drinks and he did give me another one but i didnt like the way he made me feel. I’ve been several times since they opened. Was super excited about this option for the northeast. staff is friendly. BUT there are a couple of inconsistencies making me reconsider going back. At times the avocados were not ripe therefore hard and other times bad and discolored completely. the lettuce has not been fresh. Some of the mixed in lettuce is wilted, has brown spot discoloration, slimy edges, and once had mud on the fold of the leaf. Some tomatoes are good and some are too soft and mushy.

It is difficult to have fresh salad items consistently however if I am paying $13 for a small salad, I expect...
