There were two sides of customer services that I experienced this morning. I was looking for a nice gift basket (personal purchase) and the older lady (didn't catch her name) rudely states that none of the baskets on the floor were for sale and I couldn't touch them. A "How can I help you, or this is what we have available for sale" would have sufficed. The younger girl was very sweet and asked me if I needed anything, to go ahead and ask her. I felt uncomfortable already with the first encounter. What I had found, I did not end up purchasing. I do not think I will ever again. The company I work for has purchased gift baskets from The Coffee Emporium for years, after today, I do not think we will keep the tradition anymore; there have been a handful of complaints within my company about the customer service from this establishment already, but I played it off as if they went at busy times. My hubby is a fiend for the New Mexico Pinion coffee. They had several packaged flavors on the shelf. There are not too many places in El Paso that sell this brand. If you live in the Westside, this is the most convenient place to get it. Be prepared to spend $$ it is not cheap. You can buy for less $$ at the Albertsons in Las Cruces, but not here in EP. They also carry an incredible selection of teas and chocolates. Looks like they also serve coffee in another area of the store. I was in too much of a hurry to investigate. Will go...
