I love going to this place, the food is delicious. My only complaint about it is the hours. My family and I went in the last hour before the business was going to close for the day and we wanted some tacos after a long day. We arrive to the restaurant and we get told that only “to go orders.” I look around and every area is blocked off for seating. My family members had to utilize the restroom and those were closed off too. It was very unfair to receive this kind of treatment especially when we chose to spend our money as valued customers there.. very very disrespectful. The lady did not want to open up the restrooms and had to visit a local business near by that had restrooms. once we received our meals we decided why not sit outside since only the inside is blocked off. My family sits outside and a worker comes out telling us to go home that we cannot eat there and need to go home. Very disrespectful business! Respect the...
Read moreFirst off, I have an inate resentment for businesses that come here and employees "no habla ingles". Now to food review. I could see before my molars could grind the bovine protein that the rancher that raised this sacrifice was related to Charles Goodyear, as in rubbery. Not as bad as I feared, but there were some dissappointing chunks. The beverages were in a windowed cooler, just slightly "cooler" than room temperature. I prefer fountain drinks, which I realize requires more maintenance and attention, but this is my preference. This place is more of a brick and morter taco truck than a restaurant. It is bare bones, paper plates, no frills, but at least they have napkin holders at the table. I should have gone to TACO TOTE even though it would have been a few $$ more and their beans are Bush's beans and not home made. Would I go back???????, ah that...
Read moreIf planning to dine in be sure to order at the counter. Staff was very friendly and patient as it was our first time in. Ordered a small and large menudo, 2 tacos of each barbacoa, tripas, and steak, limonada and bottled water. I usually find myself adding dried pepper to my menudo, but there no need for it here, the spiciness was on point for me. Would've like for it to be hotter temperature wise, but it was still well served with both meat and hominy. The street sized tacos were good too, a plus for my husband as they came with one tortilla only. He ordered crispy tripas and they were just the right crunch without breaking your teeth. This place getting saved for a return visit when in...
