Denny's used to be a place one can enjoy a nice quiet meal and leave satisfied ready for the day. Now all i see is the exact opposite.
There's absolutely no order on the weekend people in groups of 8 and often more taking up all the space in the restaurant, not to mention how loud messy and inconsiderate these groups tend to be. Others in line waiting for a table all over the front door blocking other customers as well as employees.
Hostesses and even a cook walk around with no sense of purpose while we wait. Disappointing to say the least. Peoples children screaming yelling and running around the restaurant bothering others like myself who come here to eat and carry on with our day. Only time employees seem to actually do what they are supposed to do is when a bald husky man walks in the door who I'm assuming is their boss, and they all scatter like roaches.
Explain why i see waitresses going in and out of the restaurant as they please? I thought waitresses job was attending their tables....isn't that how they make money? Not just waitresses but hostess and a guy that works in the back. Then dare to come back inside Denny's smelling like body spray and what clearly smells like pot. It's no wonder why i ask for my waitress and she's nowhere to be found. I understand we all need a brake, however, to actually walk out the restaurant to smoke and get high! You have no business serving food or attending customers and should be fired. Instead of making comments about customers, complaining about being tired and talking about partying you all should get to work as WE CAN ALL HEAR YOU.
The store manager seems oblivious to all of this and i find this alarming. I don't even ask to speak to the manager because either she stepped out or she's not in. Well, that explains...
Whatever people do with their life/career is their issue. All i ask is be a professional and lead by example. To the few hard working waitresses keep it up! And i thank you for your time. Know that not all customers are cheap and rude. I reward good customer service. Help your co-workers get with the program, will you. Food is good and coffe still great, just PLEASE to the cooks, we want our pancakes golden not brown or burnt. No amount of syrup and toppings will help me overlook the burnt...
Read moreWell, work has me in El Paso, TX. Have been here for a few days. This was my second visit to this restaurant this week. The first was a late night visit. The second was for lunch. When I was in high school, I worked at a fast food fish fry restaurant. One thing I can tell you about deep fryers is that the oil has to be filtered at least twice a day. If not, you end up with fried food that looks like it was over-fried and burnt. If the oil has been filtered, the fish, chicken, or chicken fried anything will come out golden brown. That being said, the first night, I ordered the sampler appetizer, which comes with cheese sticks, onion rings, chicken nuggets, and fries. Well, they were all fried food, and they came out dark brown and had a funky taste. For my lunch visit, I ordered the chicken fried chicken platter at the servers recommendation. We'll both chicken patties were dark brown and had a funky taste. My two sides were corn and mash potatoes. Corn was good, but my mashed potatoes were runny and looked like they had served me an order of grits. To sum this up, I was extremely disappointed on both of my visits and would highly recommend you have the cooks filter the deep fryer oil more often. Our server was cute and extremely friendly, often checking back. She did an...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Denny's on Lomaland in El Paso, Texas, and I must say, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by waitress Cielo. From the moment my party and I were seated, Cielo greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome.
Not only was Cielo attentive to our needs throughout the meal, but she also went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable. She took the time to explain the menu options, made recommendations based on our preferences, and ensured that our orders were prepared exactly as requested.
What truly set Cielo apart was her genuine kindness and enthusiasm. Despite the restaurant being busy, she remained calm, composed, and focused on providing each customer with personalized attention. Her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident in every interaction.
Overall, I highly commend Cielo for her outstanding service at Denny's on Lomaland. She exemplifies the epitome of excellent customer service and is undoubtedly an asset to the restaurant. I look forward to returning to Denny's and experiencing Cielo's exceptional service again...
