My partner and I ate at this location approximately three weeks ago around mid July. Our servers name was Stephanie. It was a Sunday morning so I didn't not expect quick service, which is fine. Actually everything tasted good and came out reasonably quick. Eggs were made how we requested. All seemed well... for that, I rate 3 stars.
Now after we ate, I gave Stephanie my card and $10.00 in the check book she handed us. I've been a server myself, so I feel every server should know that this action means SPLIT OUR BILL. In the past, I was handed cash with a card and immediately knew to ask if the customer's wanted a split bill. Now, when we got there Stephanie made a comment about someone else being "new", so I think its okay to assume that meant Stephanie herself was a seasoned server.. So, this leads me to wonder why a possibly seasoned server would take my card, charge all the meal on my card and pocket the ten dollars that was placed in her check book adjacent to my card without wondering, even for a moment, why two people who ate a $20.00 dollar meal would leave her a $10.00 dollar tip for regular service on a regular day. At some point she had to know that we meant to split the bill. I shouldn't have signed that receipt, but like her I made an assumption and thought she knew we had split the bill. The difference between she and I, however, is that there is also a possibly she robbed me blind by knowingly pocketing my money, waiting to see if I would call her out or not even notice, and that, my friends, left me feeling VERY irritated.
I later called and spoke to their assistant manager who then passed my message to Glenn, who I believe is their GM. After speaking with Glenn, he said he wasn't sure how he could fix the issue. Apparently you have to call regional before any refunds can be issued, but I guess the issue lies in the fact that I signed the receipt. At the moment I felt like that was a weird thing to say considering I was only asking for 10 dollars (what I thought fair), but at the same time I did sign the receipt and therefore did add to the issue. I decided the situation was petty and called Glenn back asking him to just talk to the server as I was ready to drop the issue. Glenn then told me he felt he could fix the situation by giving me a $10 dollar coupon, which at the time I felt was fair. In retrospect, I should have gotten my refund based on principal. Had I simply been offered the refund and the server been reprimanded or forced to pay the ten dollars, this would be a whole different review; but rather, I was given coupons. Yes, the coupons were useful, but they don't take away the bad taste from the experience. Stephanie walked away with our pocketed ten dollars, plus the tip money we left on the table. Overall, she walked away with about as much money as we paid for our meal. Not cool. Lesson learned-- check your receipts for errors, especially at...
Read moreCUSTOMER LOST!!! All of the employees in the pictures below need retraining IMMEDIATELY! All of these employees were unprofessional. The two ladies in the first picture were very rude and unprofessional.. I asked them for the for manger’s name one of them walked away and didn’t say anything. I waited and she explained that he was “in the bathroom”. I then repeated I just wanted to know his name. She refused to tell me. I had been waiting for an order. Everyone else received their food except me. I seen the order sitting there and they still didn’t give me the food until they felt like it.
I came back to the restaurant later that day for another delivery order and the 3 employees in the picture all watched me walk in looked at me and continued their conversation. 3 minutes later two ladies walked in behind me and they were helped immediately. I then told the employee who the order was for and I had to wait over 10 mins to get the order. When I received the order I was missing an item. I asked the young lady who appears brown skin the managers name and she said his name was Joseph and talked with the other employees. Came back and changed the name to man named James. I then told her I was missing a drink.
I wish I could take this post down and have a positive update. But unfortunately that’s not the case. I do however want to thank the manager for reaching out and tying to make it right. I went in on 7/16/2025 around 10am or 11am. I received the same mistreatment from the same you ladies. I ordered food for my son. I didn’t eat but I ordered crepes. Which was for my son. I believe they thought the crepes was for me and my son told me the crepes was spoiled and taste sour. He ordered a cinnamon bun crepe. I appreciate the manager for trying to make things right but unfortunately it...
Read moreExpect to see the necessary changes that have been implemented to protect everyone. My family of 4 arrived at 9:30 am on Sunday. The hostess asked how many people were in my party along with my name and phone number. I was advised it would be a 10 min wait and to please wait in our car and they would call my phone when our table became available. The wait was actually much less. We sat in the car for 4 min if that at all. Which is outstanding considering all of the Covid19 restrictions in place, much less on a Sunday morning. The biggest change but, by no means difficult, was the menu. The menu is viewed digitally via your personal cell phone. Be prepared to have your phone on you for this very reason. There is no need to make the servers job difficult by being defiant. Safety guidelines are in place for a reason. During the time our food was being prepared I noticed that as people finished eating and began to trickle out of the restaurant. Tables were promptly attended to by teams of two. One clearing plates and the other sanitizing tables and chairs. Also, all condiments (salt, pepper, creamer, sugar, etc) are provided via a condiment caddy brought to the table by the server. They even took the time to put ketchup and Tabasco in individual solo cups. Anyone who has ever worked in the service industry is aware that this adds quite a bit more time to the servers side work. I am appreciative of the additional steps taken by IHOP staff to ensure the health and safety of my family. Overall, the service and food did not disappoint. Our tab came to roughly $60. This included an extra dish split between two of the parties at the table. Amazing value for what we spent.
Many thanks to the entire IHOP team! Y'all...
