Mundo's — Restaurant in El Paso

Menudo was GOOD, but not the best. Cost more here than other places. The pansa was cut small, and the flavor was on point.

Chorizo burritos are fatty but not worth over $4. Lacked chorizo. Charged an extra dollar for cheese, too. Cheese was barely added and charged a "customer service" fee for using a debit card, I presume. Pretty ghetto when places do this. Just add the fee to your food cost, dummies. This charge makes you look foolish as a business to show this type of charge on your receipts.

Better menudo elsewhere in the area that does not charge extra fees for paying with a card or for some stupid automatic tip that's added for to-go's when ordered up front as a to go order.

Maybe they'll respond here to confirm what that charge is for. Still unacceptable and a bad business practice and a disservice.

This place is close to my house. I will not be back. There are lots of better options in the area!

Just walked out without even eating. Yes, the food is good but is it worth the lack of customer service? No thanks. Ordered four meals. Waited over 30 minutes, we received two of the meals and still waited an additional 20 minutes for the other two. To top it off the last two meals were wrong. I asked for a steak burrito with beans and cheese covered in chile con queso, got it but with no beans and cheese. I told her it was wrong and they refused to redo it. They simply gave me the beans and cheese on a side plate. I'm paying for my food so I should get it like I order it!! Waitress said that it was due to how busy they were in the drive thru. If they can't handle customers in the restaurant and in the drive thru, then maybe they should...

Other than the great menudo, it’s about all you can say, because the rest of the menu doesn’t come close to the menudo with the very below average food. The drive through window is a plus, especially if you’re going for a quick menudo, but get there early on the weekends or you’ll be waiting a while behind cars before you get up to the window. The place is small, so don’t go with a large party because you’ll be hard pressed to get enough tables together to seat your party. The place on the weekends is packed for reasons I don’t understand why, but my wife says it’s only because of the menudo, that I can understand, because they do serve a good menudo, just too bad the rest of the menu doesn’t compare, if it did this place...
