I got hungry for some Chinese after eating tacos for days and decided to give this place a whirl. There is plenty of parking at this place, and it's a wait to be seated kind of place. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by the hostess and told to sit wherever I chose. There were only 2 other patrons in here at the time. The place is run down on the inside and definitely needs a major renovation. The hostess was also my waitress who took my drink order. I ordered hot tea. Instead of a small pot of hot brewed tea, I got a cup with 1 green tea bag and a pot of hot water. Only Chinese place I've ever been that did this, which left me not very happy. I ordered the Chicken Egg Foo Young, and this took quite a bit of time for the cook to prepare. My waitress did inform me that it did take a bit to get it together. Around 20-25 min total time from stove to table. The Egg Foo Young was extremely tasty. The green onion slivers on top versus diced made for nice accent and a little more taste. The gravy was a little darker and thicker versus other places where it's lighter and runny. The food bailed this place out, it was very good. Their lunch menu is very limited, hence why I ordered a dinner style of meal. You pay at the counter on your way out. I give this place a single thumbs up and that's for the food.

We’ve ordered from here a few times and it was always a pleasant experience. The food is probably the best in the area in terms of Chinese dishes, but when we ordered today, I’m not sure what happened. We placed our ordered at 6:44pm and we were told 25-30 minutes. I got to the store at 7:20pm to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. It wasn’t ready until almost 7:40pm. It came out hot so no big deal, except for the third entree which was Shrimp Lo Mein. The sauce had spilled out of the container, was cold, and had soaked the container so much that it was floppy and ripping. Whatever, no big deal. It happens…until I got to the bottom of my bowl and this was in it. I really like to think it’s the tail of a shrimp that somehow ended up in the pan when it was being cooked just so I give my mind some ease. I’m not sure what was going on tonight, especially because they were not busy when I came but I also don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Normally I’d give this place 4 stars but this experience just wasn’t a pleasant one. Hopefully next time, it’s better.

The entry: The experience was pleasant. I was happy that l overcame the initial apprehension when l entered at seeing the leaking roof and pails all over the place. Ambience: The decorations were minimal and a few Chinese paintings and orange with. A golden lion did not do justice to the food. Food: The food portions were big. The party of six ate to our full. The individual hot and sour or egg drop soup and large bowl of rice started the dinner. The spicy shrimp/ chicken pat tai, Orange Chicken, the chicken noodle, fish with ginger plate, fresh long beans tasted good. Price: l was pleasant surprised that the food was value for money. Soups, Five dishes and hot water cost less than $65. Six adults portions - value for money. Customer service - the lady who served us was excellent and took care of the many request for pepper, the chilli sauce, rice resupply with a smile. Military Discount: this restaurant gives military discount. 🤠

I have been going here since it opened and have had good experiences with the food. Sometimes the flavors aren't i nconsistant and the price is always different for the mei fun that I get but I deal with it. The women that take my orders are usually pretty decent but today I went and ordered my food, the woman was Rude and took a phone call ahead of me, she could have put the call on hold as I was face to face with her but she chose not to wait on me as I was first, pretty normal for El Paso. I placed my order, waited a while, got it and left as it was carry out. Got home and got ready to eat, the order was wrong so I called to let her know it was wrong, she argued and said it was my fault, didn't offer to resolve the issue at all, it was that I was wrong and she was right. I know what I asked for and she repeated it back to me but I ordered wrong according to her. Some of these people think they are doing us a favor when it is us doing them one, because without our business they wouldn't have a job. This woman needs lessons in customer service or she needs to learn to be a customer service representative or find a job in another job field. Why do business owners hire people with no customer service skills? So beware of these women that take your orders and maybe make sure to check your order before you leave. The young Asian man is the best one in there to take your orders. Learn some manners before dealing with the public lady and I hope you know...

I come here at least once a month and usually dine in. It’s always a lovely and pleasant experience. Today really had me putting in this incredibly low review. I hope the manager sees this and knows that I am to the bottom of my heart disappointed and infuriated. Not only was the order for delivery and I ended up having to pick it up but they lied about the delivery time. Telling me it would be 45 minutes. When I called back an hour after placing my order I was told that the delivery wouldn’t be taking place for an hour or TWO - their reason citing that they only have one driver and they’re really busy. So I asked if my food was sitting there waiting for me, they said yes it was. THEY MADE THE FOOD AND LET IT SIT THERE for god knows HOW LONG until i called to check in. Then when i get there, the lady at the register (and it’s a stretch to call her a lady) had the nerve to tell me it’s not their fault. I’ve worked in foodservice. If it’s too busy to complete and deliver the orders in a timely fashion, you STOP or SLOW the taking of orders. Finally when I get home and open the food, unsurprising it’s warm at best and when my grandma opened her shrimp we found under the battering that it wasn’t even cleaned. They think they can get away with not cleaning the shrimp because it is battered. Absolutely disgusting. We will be finding a new restaurant...
