Wing Daddy's Sauce House — Restaurant in El Paso

It is with great regret that I write this review. Wing Daddy's on Mesa has been the go-to stop for my friends and I for years. We have probably spent well over a thousand dollars dining here and were pleased with the food and the service. However, over the years, the quality of service has suffered a great decline.

This culminated with a horrendous experience we had last Saturday. The establishment was packed, but we were seated within a decent window of time thanks to a quality manager. However, it took us well over 15 minutes and only after insisting multiple waitresses that we were served. Our server was visibly regretful about dealing with us, borderline rude and messed up on both our food and drink orders when she could be bothered to attend to us.

The peak of this was at the end of the night where our bill came and we provided part in cash and part on card. The waitress' attitude picked up and she very stealthily provided us with a folded receipt. What should have been a $7.00 overage + tip covered on the card turned into a $27.00 overage. She had pocketed $20 and attempted to bill us an additional $20. Then became rude and hostile when confronted about it. We are quite thankful the helpful managed stepped in to resolve the situation, but the damage was done.

This was not a clerical error. This was not a miscalculation. The waitress attempted to con us out of $20 and pocket it for herself. Twenty dollars is nothing to me or my friends after all we have spent at Wingdaddy's, but it is the principle of the matter. This regretfully ends our long-standing relationship with this once great eatery, but this must be what happens when one hires unskilled labor who are signed on more for their looks than qualifications.

Tonight me and my girl decided to go eat some wings. With many options in the area we decided to go eat at this place. We went into the restaurant and we were told seat anywhere you would like and we did. Once sorted we waited to get services and 5 minutes passed and nothing. We started to look or a waitress or waiter and nothing. What I saw was this, lack of attention to the customers, then the waitresses all bunched up by the food pick up area and stayed there. One started to eat while others just stayed there doing nothing. One went to grab a drink from her cup and while looking at our table nothing followed. Needless to say it’s a crazy system that you as a restaurant owner or company have such lack of service demanded from your employees and the manager like nothing either. But hey I guess that you have to be a person that like to drink and seat at the bar to get services. But honestly the service here is beyond reproach and the manager should be retrained in how to properly manage and attend to customers. But it’s easy to say all this when I don’t own the business but as a paying customer at the minimum I would have expected a clean table and to at least have my drink for me and my women to start the service but nothing. Well I can go on and on about service but this is enough. But I’ll be taking my business elsewhere where and won’t be eating at this or any of the other wing daddy’s since service is lacking and training is not even done. our service at this wing Daddy's was absolutely terrible, it was the absolute worst dining experience Ive had in years! I had a party of 5, we were served our drinks and one of our glasses had a huge Crack in it, coke was leaking everywhere It was hard for me to believe that our server did not notice the crack, my sister asked our server for a straw and instead of providing us with a new straw she looked to my date and asked him if he was using it and grabbed it from him, I thought that was very unprofessional. It took almost an hour for my sisters date to receive his ONE beer that he ordered when we first sat down, it did not arrive until after our food. we ordered wings and chicken bites with fries, it took 45 minutes for our food to come out and it arrived cold, the wings that we ordered was under cooked and there was a puddle of grease in the bowl that the wings arrived in, after our food had arrived within the next 10 minutes our server breanna denied my friend another beer saying we're closed now hun we're just waiting on you guys to leave I found that very unprofessional and Disgusting it was 12 o'clock. My question is why do you have your hours open until 1 a.m. if we are getting kicked out by 12 you should really change the hours of operation! our food was horrible our service was terrible our server breanna looked like she seemed to be under the influence of some type of drug or alcohol.
