Horrible! I have waited 4 days to hear back from the manager or owner of the place- nothing... so my review stands. This is not a "Philly Cheese Steak"!! Cheese not even melted. Where are the grilled onions and bellpeppers?! I asked for them not one!! And Steak? That is chopped up and sliced up meat- not steak. Call it what it is-. A beef sandwich. TRUTH the real truth! I called them that my sandwich had no bellpeppers or onions grilled and the cheese was not melted at all... This used to be a good place 10 years ago. Now it's cheap. Lettuce and shredded tomato and pickles? Really? It's more like long shredded beef sandwich. Sorry. I'm waiting to hear from the manager. Good luck. It's good if ur just hungry and u dont care between a a real Philly Sandwich and this weird fake one trying to pass itself off as one. So sad. I wish I could get my time and money back. The meat had no flavor either seriously. The chili peppers were idk from a jar or pre-prepared. Horrible! And the kids couldn't even eat their own sandwich because even though I said not hot peppers, it was still slathered in a red spicy...

I was looking forward to this meal because it's been years since I had been because I live further fromit now. First know that the menu online, though it looked to be recently updated does not match what you can order online. I actually wonder if I would've ordered online, what would they have prepared? I ordered the Chicken Mushroom Philly and went home to enjoy with my husband. My son had the Pizza Philly, and my daughter didn't order because the menu there was different than online and there was nothing there she wanted other than a caesar salad. They were unaware that they had a caesar salad on the menu. I got home, the sweet peppers I used to love were bland and the sandwich would send your blood pressure sky high. It was all salt and nothing else. Neither my husband and I could eat our sandwiches and it was just a waste of money. I am disappointed that I drove that far, spent $30, and still was without a meal. I don't want to tell you about this place, and if you come here you'll understand why. Born and raised in CA, so I wouldn't know a real cheesesteak from what I have had, but I have been told by a friend who took a sandwich to her step-father (from east coast) that this is the best one he has had on the west coast. So, you don't have to take my word. But, if you just came in through LAX and want something to eat, I would come here, though make sure they are open as they close early (part of the charm of El Segundo). Staff are great, get your food out quickly. Also, the locals, I like them a lot, very friendly genuine people, just tell them a friend told you to come here cause they said it was awesome and they will be sure to smile and agree. May even talk to you while you wait for your food. Might have to park on the street, but shouldn't be an issue. Oh, and the prices are right where they should be for what you...
