My first time coming here was for my aunts birthday and I can confidently say I will not be returning. There was a 45 min to 1 hour wait which wasn’t a big deal except upon entry it didn’t seem busy at all to make sense of the wait. Our server was pleasant, though I maybe knew I should’ve stuck with just an appetizer when the meal she recommended from the menu was chicken tenders. I got the shrimp appetizer which was really tasty. The food took longer than we had expected, maybe the kitchen staff was low and that’s why the wait was so long. My dinner options were both nasty and honestly I felt bad sending my second option back so I kept it. First I got the prime rib sandwich, my phone camera is broken but I wish I could have taken a picture. Some of the meat was literally cold to the touch and it just did not seem cooked well and the bread wasn’t toasted and was soggy on the bottom like the plate was damp when my food was put on it. I sent that back because it was just flat out nasty and hesitantly got the Alfredo which our server said was just okay. I figured though how bad could Alfredo be. I added shrimp for razzle dazzle. Took forever to come out & NOPE. it’s the next morning and I’ve been sick for about 5 hours in and out of the bathroom & praying to the Lord to release me from the chokehold of these stomach cramps. The Alfredo wasn’t good but as I said I kept it as I felt bad cuz I had already sent a meal back. I should have sent that back to but apparently I’d probably have taken too many bites already anyway. Staff was friendly but due to wait times and feeling like they tried to murder my stomach I will not be returning here or trying any other locations. Also beware of upcharges. My Alfredo was supposed to come with a salad, I told my server I don't want their salad so she gave me an option to sub a different side but failed to mention there is a upcharge
UPDATE: I did in fact get food poisoning confirmed by urgent care. This establishment was the only thing I had eaten before the onset of my symptoms. Don't waste your money, you may not get food poisoning but you can find better options many places.
Also, I'll take part in this but when my server initially gave me my check it was correct, she took them back to charge the cards and put on military discount and I noticed the next day she somehow mixed the checks up and charged my card for my family members tab. I didn't check again before signing and tipping and the prices were similar but not a mistake that should...
Read moreThis was my first time going and I asked ppl prior about them and they said their service was bad. But I went only bc we were celebrating a persons birthday. There was hardly anyone there and are group got seated about 6:15-6:20. We all placed are orders and we sat and waited and waited and another group of about 6 or 7 people got seated way after us and order later than us BUT they got there food not appetizers but main meal all before us. We didn’t start getting are food until about 7:20 and one person had to aske where was there food. It took so long for several us they just asked for to go boxes to pack it up bc it got so late. I only had gotten a salad which is crazy bc they don’t have a basic house salad. What kind of house salad doesn’t come with cheese? So I paid a dollar extra for a pinch of cheese. I didn’t want none of the meat or almonds on my salad. The toppings were such a small amount I basically had just lettuce. Then on top of that I paid $8.99 for that. Their menu is ridiculous like is pricy for a place that is below average. The service was horrible due to the slowness. It made me feel some kind of way to have a black group and a white group and the white group came later than us order later than us but everyone got there food before us. A lot of us had salads, pasta, salmon or shrimp. Like did y’all have to catch the fish and go chase down a cow? I will not return to this place who try to do the croissants like California Dream. They like the knock of version. This place needs to work on faster service, taking care of folks who came in first, they need to change the menu bc the prices are ridiculous . Save your...
Read moreWent there last night (JPeters Sparkleberry crossing) for dinner with friends. When I called to make reservations they told me they do not take reservations, but they have been pretty slow so It should be no more than a 10-15 min wait. We had to wait an hour for a table because we did not want a booth and there was only 1 round table big enough for 5 people. We waited at the bar and had drinks that were very good. After waiting about 45-50 min we decided to order appetizers at the bar. It took only 10 min to get the appetizers which was sent to our table we finally got. We were at our table for 15 min before the waitress came to get just a drink order. Took another 15 min or so just to get our drinks. We placed our order and our salads came out just a couple min before the main meal which left out meal on the table getting cold until we finished our salad. We ordered the Prime Rib which was great after sending it back to the kitchen to be cooked longer. I asked for another crossant and she brought a whole plate of 5 and charged us $4.99. ( not letting me know there was a charge before bringing them) it then took them about 20 min to get our bill ready and bring it to us. Then after paying it took another 15-20 min for her to bring back our cards after paying. We asked to speak to the manager and he said they were short on staff and he was sorry. When we asked for the corp information he refused to give it to us. He was also very rude. We thoroughly enjoyed the food but refuse to go back because the service was so slow. We actually had better service sitting at the bar then when we finally...
