TLDR; Nice store, mainly early 2000s clothes offered, lack of inclusive sizing options.
I came here because I have followed this store on social media for a few years and was excited to see they were going to be open full time as opposed to just the summers. I was also stoked they bought vintage clothes. As an avid collector who has outgrown much of her stuff, I brought in a big bag of clothes to go through - ranges from 1900s to early 2000s all in good condition.
As they were going through my things, I browsed the store. Unfortunately, there did not seem to be any clothes over a size 4 or size 6 (that I observed, anyway). Much of the clothing eras also reflected the early 2000s and later - while technically vintage, I was hoping to see a wider range of eras offered based on the store's name. I was also a little disappointed when the store only bought two items from me; however I will say they offered me $10/piece which is more than fair. I guess the eras I had were not what they were looking for.
I just want to emphasize that the eras of clothing offered seem to be majority early 2000s. While the store was clean and well stocked and the staff was great, just be aware of the lack of inclusive sizing and lack of different eras of...
Read moreHonestly, word of advice from someone who’s done business for a few years, lower your pricing at least by $5 or $10 less than all of what you have. I know for a fact you guys don’t have EVERYTHING vintage because the owner, David, bought something from me from a garage sale I had that is artisanal made from Mexico and NOT vintage, just hand made. I have a picture of the item. It made me a little upset that the item was put at $20 while I sold 2 for $10. I wouldn’t be too upset if you guys put it at $15 but at least make it affordable for someone who actually likes artisan made items that way they know that most of the profit is going to the artist rather than to the seller. I do like that you guys had the 20% off for the store closing, and honestly I would suggest doing a 20% off a few times a week that way you’ll get more foot traffic and even more sales. I understand vintage items are not cheap but please make sure that they are ACTUAL vintage!! Don’t just resell whatever and call it “vintage” I only want what’s best for your business and I promise you once you start lowering the prices AND/OR at least double checking to make sure that everything you buy and resell is actual vintage you guys will make...
Read moreYou can really see the professional of this shop!!! Stained clothing selling for $35 and up, rude staff and owner. Absolutely no taste in the curating and an embarrassment to the reselling community. The store is overpriced and pretentious… They have a very small women’s section with mostly new items and no range in sizing besides small. There is not a lot of range in items as well besides t-shirts( some with stains) and was left a little disappointed with the selection. I brought in a genuine leather handmade vest and owner offered me $5 dollars on the item leaving me to believe he didn’t know what he was looking at. I was told that the only thing that owner would buy for $35 was a carhart jacket…. As a business owner and curator myself the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth considering it’s overpriced t-shirts with a unit price of $5 or less and a markup of around $20-25. If you are looking for vintage in area consider whatnot and whimsies with wide range of sizing, pieces...
