We get Bojangles quite often, sometimes several times a week. You generally have the best chicken in town. But yesterday you let us down. We bought a 12 pc. The wings were full of chicken feathers along the tip of the wing. The chicken was dry and hard as a brick, like it had been re-fried or fried too long. The chicken was so obliviously over cooked, even burnt on the top of the chicken breast in places under the breading. We tried to eat it, but couldn't. Do you have new cooks ? We were actually amazed that you would serve it to your customers. It was a drive through order.Terminal: 03/DT Order, Bojangles # 30, 807 W Ehringhaus St., Elizabeth City City, NC 27909 Store 30 Check 0759 11/20/13 4:12PM Server :00028/ Shaune 1 12 PC 6 Bisc 17.49 + 1.18 tax + 18.67 The chicken was not fit to eat and thrown into the trash. Even though we chose not to return the chicken for a refund,( too upset and disgusted ) we felt that you should know what is being served to your customers. It is more than likely that we were not the only customers served that particular batch of chicken. The biscuits, also were not fresh either. They were sweaty feeling to the touch. Not sure what went wrong, but it was enough to prevent us from remaining Bojangles customers. Please, please make sure the food you serve your customers is freshly cooked and by all means to not serve them recooked or seriously overcooked food. Your customers trust you and expect you to serve quality food. No customer should ever have to return to your place of business to get a refund because of poor food quality or service. Read moreWorst experience I've had at a Bojangles. We travel all over and we've been to quite a few. I ordered a Cheddar Bo add an egg and the first guy was like, I don't think we can do that. I pointed to the menu where it says Cheddar Bo at the bottom it literally says "add an egg". A woman came over and said "what is she trying to do? And begins to help. Then she says "we can't add the egg. And I said it says on the menu "add an egg". She says we can't put it on the sandwich, it'll have to come on the side and you have to put it on. I told her okay, just add an egg to my order please. I asked for Bo rounds as my side and they said they don't have them ready. And I said okay can you make some? They responded well, yah but it's going to be 8 minutes. So I said okay. And they asked me again what I wanted and I said the Bo rounds. And he said, "you want to wait?" And I said yes, and he said pshhh dang and walked to the back window and yelled "put some Bo rounds down".
I paid and moved over to wait and then a 3rd person came over and asked "what is she trying to do with the egg"? And they started asking me again and came to the same result that I'd have to add it to my own sandwich. And I said whatever I just want the egg.
Finally got my food and the cheddar Bo literally looks like it's been run over by a car and the cheese is so old and hard I couldn't...
Read moreUsed this location’s drive thru the afternoon of 4/9/25 around 2:15pm or so. The person taking the order seemed short, disgruntled, and unhappy to take our order, and wasn’t very understandable or speaking clearly. I first asked for a chicken sandwich. She said “well we don’t have that ready. That’s a 10-minute wait”. To me, that means they’re too lazy to cook it so they’re talking you out of waiting for the item due to their drive thru clock that’s timing each vehicle. So I then ordered chicken tenders instead. Then I ordered a Bojangler fish sandwich which was also on the menu. She said “We don’t have those anymore”. Then why is it advertised on the menu board? So I ordered a second chicken tenders box. We got to the window. The girl, who had red hair dyed like a circus clown, didn’t say anything to us or greet us. We received the food in 4-5 minutes. The fries were cold, the biscuit was burned on top, and the tenders were very small and overcooked. Will not recommend or be back to this...
