We had the worst experience at this Ruby Tuesday’s!!! We were visiting the area on our way to the Outer Banks and when we found out there was a Ruby Tuesday’s, we were extremely thrilled. Our son, who is 7, loved eating at our local one but it was shut down. We knew when we would pass through how much he would enjoy visiting a place he loved so dearly. We walked in to what seemed to be chaos. There was no steady hostess, but what seemed like frantic employees walking around with no clear direction on how to handle being somewhat busy. After a 10 minute wait, a woman asked my husband how many people. He told her 7 (4 adults and three children, ages 7,5, and 2). She immediately said “ We don’t sit parties of more than 6.” My husband replies, “Okay, but three of them are kids, one being 2 years old.” She proceeded to say we can’t help you with no remorse or even considering the fact that three of them are children. This is mind blowing to me that a “family style” restaurant will not site parties larger than 6. What happens if you have 5 kids, that with 2 parents is 7. Then to top it off, we called to speak to a manager, not that we would go back as we were headed to eat somewhere else, but to file a complaint. After speaking with her, she could care less and agreed to the policy! The manager, the store and the staff have completely lost touch with what they are doing for a job, customer service!!!! Maybe you should be less concerned with the count of your parties and more concerned with providing customer service to your patrons! Read moreThis place should be , if not in the beginning stage of shutting down . I had a bit of a conversation with one of the managers. He has NO CLUE of how bad this place has gotten . They are about 1 point from being a B sanitation grade . IT SHOWS ! Do yourself a great big favor and , eat somewhere else . I usually don't post bad reviews on here but , this place warrants this . It is all I can do to keep from calling the health department on this place .this place has a bad oder and it hasn't seen a broom or mop in quite some time . The salad bar was pretty bad too . Now mind you , my wife and I came into this place 45 minutes after they opened , not a customer in the place , she says we haven't put the crackers or croutons on the salad bar yet , they are baking them . 1 hour later .. still nothing . I say something to the manager, he says we are thawing and baking them . I say you better either turn the oven on or pu them things out before they burn . 🔥 . Read moreFood actually was okay but a few things turned me off. Curbside pickup, I called and a female employee said your food will be ready when you come inside. It's not really curbside pickup, because I was required to come on and pick it up at the bar. When I came inside, I could see the kitchen, bar and other personnel doing mission essential jobs. I saw 2 people rushing to fulfil online orders. I waited patiently. No personnel came to me, spoke to me until my order was ready. The male employee brought 2 bags to me, asked for the name on my order, told him the name of order, he gave it to me. I quickly looked through the bag to see if I had everything but I was done and ready to leave and he did not ask me, did I need anything else. Just before eating, my wife recognized that there were no butter and sour cream for the baked potatoes. We both thought the baked potatoes were good and or okay. My cheeseburger was okay and my wife and daughters are the pasta entree. My wife tried to call them to let them know that there was no butter and sour cream, but no one answered her phone call.
