Wawa — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

Sad just sad....I have to be at work really early in the morning so I ordered a breakfast burrito at 0435; then got a message saying it would be ready by 0455 via the app. I arrived at 0450 in hopes to pick my breakfast as soon as it was made. I arrived and pumped over 16 gallons of diesel. I walk in to find my food is not ready and the staff were still unpacking and setting up the food prep area; to include 1 staff member actually smelling the processed meat as if there was a smell of spoilage. At no point did any of the kitchen staff address any of the approximately 8 patrons waiting. After waiting 20 minutes beyond the order ready time I could not stay and had to leave for work. I only ordered a simple sausage and egg burrito. Prior to leaving I asked the on duty manager, who was manning the cash register, if there was a way to get my money refunded since I didn't not get my order. At this point I was told to just call the 1-800 number then dismissed as she helped the following person in line. I feel like I'm very understanding if things are running a bit longer than normal but the complete lack of customer service and unwillingness to help is unlike any other Wawa store I have...

I know that youre just getting here and beginning to get in the swing of things but already I've been disappointed. The first time I came and ordered food, it was bad. I ordered their soup and hoagie combo and the sandwich was a mess. I asked for it toasted and got it the bread was hard as a brick. I could not bite into it. Thats the first time I went. I let it slide to give the benefit of doubt. Came back a second time, the food wasnt bad but the service was. Little dude acted like he knew nothin of what I was sayin or what he was doing. He was absolutely all over the place. Tonight, its back to addressing the food. I ordered a large chicken noodle soup and the lady literally gave me a large cup full off nothin but water. There was hardly any meat, veggies, or noodles in the cup and she didnt even fill the cup. It literally looked like a small serving in a large cup. I was sorely disappointed because I thought maybe it was because i was catching them at the wrong times, but seemingly, it didnt matter what time i went. I know its early in the game but they need to get it together or the hype will die down fast and theyll start to...

Oh man where do I start .. let me start by saying I have worked for Wawa 8 years so I know the cans and can’t .. I was so excited for Wawa to come to e city ..and let me just say I get it . I get that they are new and still learning I get all that . But most of them in there came from other stores . Now with that said .. they are SOOOO SLOW and I see they are trying so hard to keep up . But what’s gets me is everytime I get a drink order and let me tell you my drink order so so simple the chi with cold foam . That’s it . And everytime it’s wayyyyyy to strong . I don’t say nothing because of the wait time . And when I get more then one drink on one order . They will make one drink give it to me …and then I have to wait another 10 15 min for the sec drink .. as far as the food side they slow too ..I can keep going but it is what it is . Oh one more thing . When I have DoorDash orders while 3 shift is there I have to wait a hr before I get the...
