Albemarle Bowling Center — Local services in Elizabeth City

March 22,2025 my family and I chose to visit our local bowling alley which is the only one in town just to get priced gauge. The prices are not explained nor are they reasonable especially for the location! I got charged for 4 games and my family and I only played three mind you it was only three of us playing. My son, my mother and I. I was told after I questioned the total price of each person is 6 dollars to play, 6 dollars for each game and 4 dollars for shoe rental. To my surprise that all came to 84 dollars! When I explained we only played 3 games showing the pictures I took, the man at the counter insisted we played 4 which was incorrect. My family wasn’t the only one that was price gauged there was also another family complaining about the same issue. I am very unpleased of the service I was given and I will not be returning no time soon or at all! My bank will be informed of the inaccuracy of this...

I would give 0 stars for my experience if that was possible. For starters, it's expensive (in my opinion). It was $3 for shoes, then $6 per person every game. They did not even give an option to play by the hour like most bowling alleys. The arcade games are outdated, and a majority of them are broken. The place is very small, not much space for a group. The WORST part was actually the other bowlers. They were loud, rude, and took up other people's space. They were bowling on 2 lanes, and yet they took up 4 lanes of space plus the tables in the back. We only had 3 people in our group, 2 people had to stand, and the 1 person who got to sit had to share the tiny bench with a baby's car seat... I don't understand why the employees wouldn't tell other groups to stay in their own area?? Not all their fault, but they should have done something to fix the issue. I will definitely not...

If I could give no stars I would. Way to be greedy.. the stupid arcade machines they have decided to not work. After my daughter had won over 509 tokens the dumb machines said she had 100. Then she didn’t even get the prize she picked and they said they can’t do anything because the machines aren’t theirs. Way to hurt a 8 year...
