I recently visited your restaurant and wanted to provide feedback on my experience.

Firstly, I truly appreciated the wonderful atmosphere. The ambiance was inviting and created a great setting to enjoy time with friends. However, while the environment was outstanding, I felt the food was just okay—it did not quite meet my expectations based on the reputation of your establishment.

My main concern, however, was the billing process, which left me feeling disappointed. I ordered a mojito and was not informed that there were two options—a regular mojito for $15 and a "super" mojito for $24. The waiter did not mention this difference, nor was I given a choice. She simply served the drink, and I was later charged for the higher-priced option without prior notice.

Additionally, while I stepped away from the table, the waiter served a round of drinks to my group, stating they were “on the house.” However, I was surprised to find one of those drinks included on my bill. I personally ordered tacos de birria, two mojitos, and one cocktail, but the final bill included extra items that were not mine, including a drink I did not order and was told was complimentary.

The total came to $150.00, which I paid without reviewing the bill at the time—my mistake. However, I feel the lack of transparency and communication from the staff regarding pricing and the addition of unapproved items to the bill were unacceptable.

While I enjoyed the atmosphere, this experience left me feeling overcharged and undervalued as a customer. Unfortunately, I do not feel inclined to return to your restaurant or recommend it to others. One thing I hate is a money hungry establishment. Our waiter didn’t even offer us water but took an automatic tip. I was already going to tip the lady $50 but she automatically took a 18% on a $150 bill which put my bill at $175. I don’t understand restaurants taking automatic tips and taking almost the highest gratuity! Please beware if you come here they will take the highest percent tip they can! I don’t mind tipping. But you messed up ya own tip by taking an automatic one.

Edit : I travelled from another state just to try this establishments food. Customer service was very poor. Very very poor. Wish she was more attentive to my party of 3. And she forced a tip because she felt like she didn’t deserve one due to her poor performance, I still was going to tip regardless but a forced tip for poor service is absolutely absurd. We had my father 80th birthday party here and they did an extraordinary job!! It was a party of 22 people the service was absolutely top notch. The food was excellent and the drinks were incredible! They went above and beyond to make my dad feel so special, that was the most important thing for me. Their hospitality made us feel great. I am very happy I picked this place. Hands down best place on morris ave for a great time and celebrating a birthday. The girls that were the entertainment were amazing too, we sang, danced and just had a wonderful time! I felt like I was at a festival! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!! A big Thank You to the amazing staff and especially the female manager (I’m sorry I forgot your name) she was so so very nice and sweet, and was ON POINT the whole time. We were there from 8-2am!
